Absolutely do not use this company if you are having septic issues! They sent workers who had never installed septic lateral fields without any sort of foreman, boss, or guidance. Thank goodness the horrible issues were noticed before they were covered with dirt!
The professionals who came out to our house to inspect our plumbing situation once we fired Barnes indicated that we should sue them.

Aaron Gudde from Barnes Plumbing did a great job for us. He was timely, efficient and thorough in getting us back up and running. He examined our system with their cameras and spotted an issue we were needing repaired as well as installing outside clean outs we did not have to make the job easier if we ever needed to address again. Great job Aaron!!

I hired Barnes to replace my septic lateral field. It was a terrible experience because Barnes doesn't believe their customers deserve to have trained and qualified crews do the work. The crews I had on site openly admitted they had been recently hired and didn't have experience with septic and lateral work.
The craftsmanship was so poor I had to stop the job and end my relationship with Barnes before they finished. They installed sewer pipes too shallow, effluent pipes without proper slope, lateral field material upside (with the silt protection on the bottom) and in a trench with uphill grade, and the concrete on my sidewalk was poorly patched by a worker who stated that it was his first time doing any concrete.
Every professional that came on site after Barnes was shocked by how bad Barnes' work was.
In the end everything thing they put in the ground, except one septic tank, had to come out because it wasn't going to work or was unnecessary. Including a 10' section of pipe that had 10 fittings, several of which weren't even glued!
I later found out that although Barnes did purchase a permit from the state for the work, they never filed a site plan, notified the inspector of a start date, or submitted to the required inspections.
I paid Barnes a very large amount of money to get them off my property and out of my life. Be careful if you decide to hire this company.
