  This is my second time choosing Ameristar Roofing for my hail damage roof replacement. The first time was in 2018 for a complicated and large area replacement for an original wood shake roof. Tara is the most outstanding rep who literally goes every extra mile and square inch to do the best job possible. She is literally amazing! She made sure to get everything taken care of from start to finish — taking photos, surveying damage, and providing upfront costs and providing everything for my insurance company - she is truly a ROCKSTAR!! I recently used Ameristar for the second time in June 2026 for another property and once again I am super pleased and thrilled that Tara could help me again 8 years later. The roof is beautiful and the gutters she recommended are perfect. Thank you, Ameristar! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

  This is a great company for roof and gutter work. They were on time. They kept the place clean. They didn't waste any time. I am very happy with the result. Our account exec. Dave was super helpful in picking out the color and selecting the right materials and scheduling the work.

  It’s been years since we have had to file a claim due to hail so we were anxious about how to get the damage taken care of to the roof and gutters as quickly and painlessly as possible. We chose Ameristar based on a friend’s recommendation, and we can truly say it was a most positive experience. Tara and Adam (from Ameristar) promptly came and assessed the damage and then made a point to come back when our insurance adjuster did his assessment. Conversations between the Ameristar reps and the insurance adjuster were cordial and respectful. We were approved for total roof and gutter replacement (completed by Ameristar) as well as replacement of a garage door, damaged screens and shutters. Ameristar did a wonderful job keeping us notified of each step in the process (delivery of shingles, and when the shingles and gutters would be installed). The job was done with the amount of money issued to us by the insurance company plus deductible (no add-ons or hidden costs). We highly recommend Ameristar and will call on them again without hesitation.

  John has been great to work with both with the real estate team I worked for as well as on my own personal home. They are quick to respond and work easily with insurance and also will take the best route for your home whether it be a replacement or repairs only. I have recommended Ameristar to many friends and neighbors and they have all been very satisfied as well.

  After the baseball-sized hailstorm that hit Parkville on March 10, we had a local roofing company inspect our roof. They advised us to wait a couple of weeks for the area to be declared a catastrophe zone to help with the insurance claim process, which we did. Once the claim was approved and the process got underway, things quickly became stressful. The contractor and insurance adjuster were constantly going back and forth over costs, and the roofing company we had originally been working with became increasingly confrontational with the adjuster. The entire situation felt unnecessarily dramatic, so we decided to get additional bids. After speaking with five different roofing companies, it became apparent that some contractors were more interested in maximizing the insurance payout than providing an honest assessment. That didn't sit well with us, and we were starting to lose confidence in the process altogether. Then a neighbor recommended Tara at Ameristar Roofing, and everything changed. I honestly can't say enough good things about Ameristar Roofing. Tara was professional, straightforward, and honest from the start. There was no nonsense, no pressure, and no inflated estimates. Best of all, she worked collaboratively with our insurance adjuster, which made the entire process smooth and stress-free. Strong professional relationships matter, and Tara is an absolute superstar. The roofing crew was equally impressive. They removed and replaced our triple-laminate roof in just two days. The crew arrived early each morning and worked diligently until daylight ran out, making sure the project was completed as quickly as possible with minimal disruption to our lives. We've been through plenty of home renovation projects over the years, and this was by far the easiest and most positive experience we've had from start to finish. I highly recommend Ameristar Roofing to anyone looking for a trustworthy, professional roofing company. They exceeded our expectations in every way.
