He replaced the defective part, made certain both of my switch boxes were communicating, and stayed a while to make certain all was well. Folks Paul is the owner of Southeast Services. That is service worth paying a premium for. Thank you Paul and Southeast Services! And I forgot to mention Southeast Services is about 30 minutes from my location!
- JFJames FordMay 12, 20265.0I bought a house 9 years ago that had a fairly old (25ish years) Generac generator already installed. I contacted Southeast Services within a couple months of moving in and had them come out and service the unit. I then entered into annual service contracts with them wherein they come out twice a year to service the unit and change its oil, check the basics including battery and test the automatic transfer switch for when utility power cuts out. They always did a good job and were very responsive. Last fall, the generator‘s motor finally gave out. Given the age of the unit, they do not carry the original motor in stock anymore (in fact I confirmed that it’s discontinued which is not surprising) so it wasn’t a simple matter of just swapping out the motor. I needed to get a new model. I shopped 3 dealers including Southeast. Southeast came in at the lowest cost and the owner Paul was very responsive and educated me on some of the details as to what an adequate replacement unit would/should be. The new unit was installed today and the installers were wholly professional and friendly which is what I’ve come to expect from Southeast. Very happy in my nine years of working with this company.
