Jason was great. Competent and friendly service. He couldn’t find a leak so we’ll continue to monitor.

One of our A/Cs failed on Sunday. Monday morning, Jason B was here to help. We needed a part which Jon V tracked down quickly and Jason came back to install within an hour or so. Future Aire installed our systems and have maintained them since. We highly recommend! I’m posting this review for my mother, Sherri Redus.

I had a very disappointing experience with this Carrier HVAC dealer. AVOID this company! I originally called because my air conditioner wasn’t cooling properly and the evaporator coil was freezing. Instead of discussing repair options or explaining what had actually failed, I was told the system could not be repaired and that my only option was to replace it. Based on that recommendation, I spent over $10,000 on a new HVAC system. Unfortunately, my problems didn’t end there. Shortly after the installation, the new system developed a refrigerant leak. I later learned that multiple refrigerant fittings had not been properly tightened during the installation, allowing the refrigerant to leak out. In my opinion, this should have been caught before the installation was completed and the system was turned over to the customer. What disappointed me even more was the lack of customer service. After the installation, I repeatedly tried to speak with the owner about my concerns, but he refused to take my calls and never returned them. Instead, I was left dealing with his secretary, who acknowledged that she didn’t know much about the technical issues and couldn’t answer many of my questions. Also, the techs who came to repair left the secure caps off the lines lying on the ground! I also had to request my installation and warranty documentation multiple times. It took quite a while before they finally provided the warranty certificate and paperwork for the equipment. For such a significant purchase, I expected this documentation to be provided promptly without having to repeatedly ask for it. Additionally,I asked the owner whether I should use a 1-inch or 4-inch filter for this rental properties, and I was advised against using a 4-inch filter. After doing additional research and speaking with other HVAC professionals, I found that many recommend a 4-inch media filter when the system is designed for it because it can improve airflow and require less frequent replacement. I was disappointed that this option was dismissed without a clear explanation. Looking back, I question whether replacing my original HVAC system was truly necessary or whether it could have been repaired. I can’t say for certain, but based on everything that happened afterward, I feel I was not given enough information to make an informed decision. Overall, I expected better workmanship, better communication, and better customer service from a Carrier dealer. After spending more than $10,000, I expected the installation to be done correctly the first time, prompt warranty documentation, and for the owner to stand behind the work and communicate directly with customers. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. Update: I appreciate the response, but it does not reflect my experience. This wasn’t simply a failed fitting—it was my understanding that multiple refrigerant fittings were not properly tightened during installation, causing a leak in a brand-new system. I also repeatedly tried to speak with the owner after spending over $10,000, but my calls were never returned, and I was left dealing with the office staff. I had to repeatedly request my warranty paperwork before finally receiving it. Most importantly, I still question whether replacing my original system was truly my only option. Based on everything that happened afterward, I don’t believe I was given enough information to make an informed decision. I expected better workmanship, communication, and customer service from a Carrier dealer.
