Excellent same day service when the AC malfunctioned overnight. Owen was a superior technician. He was professional and pleasant. Detailed explanations & thorough job. Highly recommend this company . Unit was 15 years old and needed major repairs so we decided to upgrade and purchased a new system and learned the furnace was cracked & could have been very serious if not replaced. My husband worked with commercial HVAC systems and construction during his career and had complete confidence in their abilities and recommendations.

The service technician was very nice and courteous and was respectful of me and my home. I had several plumbing issues that needed to be addressed, specifically faucets that needed to be repaired or replaced. Apparently, this company’s focus is on selling me products and services that I was uncomfortable with purchasing because the technician spent two hours doing a ‘whole house diagnosis’ of ALL my plumbing issues as well as H-Vac and electrical POTENTIAL problems, then proposed a ‘Maintenance Plan’ at the cost of $60 per month. The benefit was that I would get a 10% discount on future services as well as a discount on the $119.00 service fee. I elected not to purchase the plan but rather to repair the plumbing issues I had called about. I had already purchased parts for the fixtures I wanted replaced/repaired and the bid to complete this project was nearly $4000! Because this bid, at least to me, seemed higher than expected, I chose to just replace ONE item, the Insinkerator Instant Hot Water Spigot that I had already purchased. The bid to do just that was $934.36 and that included the $119.00 service charge. Blake did the work which took One Hour and 15 Minutes! The technician installed the part I had previously purchased and it appeared it required the use of a screwdriver. He did remove the old part and replaced the items back under my sink. I was uncomfortable confronting the technician about the price (which I considered ridiculously high) and I knew the price was not set by him. After he left, I called the Chesterfield Service Company and requested to speak to their customer service representative and asked her if she thought labor charge of $934.15 for an hour and 15 minutes of work ($12.36 per min) was a fair charge. SHE DID! They don’t charge by the hour but by the job and she said the technician had to use his tools (a screwdriver) and his gas to get here. I thought that that was the reason for the “Service Charge” fee that companies charge! Not this company! If you have money to burn, call this company and they will help you do it, politely!

Great Service. It was a routine maintenance checkup for the AC. He noted the capacitor was working but aged and “tired”. It was operating but below its expected/designed output. It was likely going to fail when the summer heat arrives—and more problems could develop. Also, the unit was missing its protective caps where they plug into (refrigerant). If the internal seals break the system would vent its coolant and we have a unit that they no longer make the coolant. So, if it vented it would mean an all new system. It was best to do the repairs now, which we did. Although these additional costs were unanticipated I’m glad they were caught now. I’m satisfied with the annual checks (service agreement). Without them, things would fail at the worst time (when you need it most) and potentially cost much more money. Thanks for the great service. Maintenance agreements are worth the costs long term.

I had a broken stem on my shower cartridge that I could not get out oh the housing. So I called Chesterfield Service because they had Sunday hours. I knew the service call would be more for a Sunday trip. But I was not ready for was the great service and expertise. I got from Chesterfield Service plumber Scott M. Scott took one look at the problem and already had figured out how he was going to repair it in the least amount of time he explained that he would need to remove some drywall and tackle the problem from the backside of the shower. He showed me everything would be fine. All in all the job check about two hours. I had wasted six hours the day before and made no progress. He had to insert new joints pipes cartridge and then hooked up my new shower trim. Scott was very professional sure of himself. , Knows his treat very very well. I am so happy. I called Chesterfield service and would highly recommend them and Scott for any problems you may have.
