  I would not recommend Howard Roofing based on my experience with my roof replacement project. The project was through an insurance claim, and the original scope of work included installing drip edge around the entire perimeter of the house and bringing the roof up to code. After the roofing project was compete, I became concerned that the work being completed did not match what was written in the contract, and my concerns were correct because they did not install drip on the entire paremeter of the house, only on the lower edges where the gutters are. According to the written contract drip edge was suppose to be installed on the entire paremeter of the house. When I brought up my concerns, Mike Howard, the owner, called me. Unfortunately, the conversation was very frustrating. He was very blunt and came across as rude and dismissive while telling me they were not going to complete certain work that I believed was clearly included in my signed contract. After that conversation, I followed up with an email to document my concerns. I then received a response from my sales representative confirming in writing that Howard Roofing would be completing the work that was included in the original contract. I appreciate that the issue was eventually addressed, but the process should not have required this much back-and-forth to get a company to stand behind the written agreement. The communication from ownership was disappointing, and the experience caused unnecessary stress during what should have been a straightforward home improvement project. I would encourage anyone considering Howard Roofing to carefully review the contract and make sure every detail is clearly documented before moving forward.

  Not related to roofing, but I sat next to the owner of this company on a plane the other day. We had a great conversation because I was wearing my buddies roofing companies shirt. As a small business owner myself, I appreciate standing up for what’s right, and America! This guy proved to me that he does too. Mr Howard is a super guy and I would do business with him any day of the week.

  Howard Roofing did an amazing job with installing our new roof. They also took the time to answer my questions without rushing through or making me feel like I should know already. Highly recommend them.

  The roof installers came at 6:30 in the morning and worked until dark. It was a large crew and they were very professional. I was very happy with the finished job and love my new roof. The whole process went very smoothly from the appraisal to the final inspection. I would recommend using Howard Roofing to anyone needing a new roof.
