Despite fulfilling our obligations, we still have not received payment from Jim, who has repeatedly changed his company name and email address over the years. We strongly advise against hiring this company, as you risk being left unpaid and unsupported.
- SCShaun CoxMay 7, 20251.0I would avoid doing business with Jim Winkels and Vivid Homes. I purchased a new home built by Jim in 2024. There were quite a few post-close warranty items to be addressed, but Jim assured me they would be. One year later and only one of the many items has ever been addressed. A neighbor in the development who also has a house built by Jim had the same experience... continual empty promises to address the punch list but in reality Jim's play is just to run the clock out on the warranty and go dark.
