  Nate our technician was informative and friendly. He checked our boiler over and made sure it was ready for winter and functional. Communication on our service window via the text system was poor. We were able to make same week appointment. Clear options with price points on possible future services and upgrades to our systems were presented to us. Technician good. Service good. Late appointment after the window was ok but not getting any update and having to call thinking no one was coming was nerve racking and not good.

  The appointment was set up very quickly, and the professional came to my door with a smile. He was warm and friendly, but also professional in his regard for all the things I need done for my basement bathroom. He provided an estimate within a half hour of his arrival and I was grateful I will have to make difficult decisions because I was impressed by your service thank you and thank him please Mary.

  DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Avoid at all costs. I got a furnace inspection from them. They sold me their yearly maintenance package which included an electrical inspection and a water heater inspection. Two different times they cancelled my water heater inspection due to “emergency circumstances “. The second time it happened they just no-showed to their appointment and then sent me a text at the end of the day. They also set an electrical inspection appointment and I had to reschedule it the day before. When I contacted them the day before they responded and said they suspended their electrical maintenance anyway…so apparently they just weren’t gonna tell me about that either until they no-showed… They must buy reviews on google because their yelp reviews are awful. Many of them have the same complaints I do. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

  We had some issues with our boiler system so I scheduled for McQuillan to diagnose and give an estimate of repairs. This is what they gave me for an estimate: Replace 30 Ib Temperature & Pressure Relief Valve: Remove existing temperature and pressure relief safety valve. Install a new pressure relief safety valve. Replace Expansion Tank #30: Replace the #30 expansion tank on your heating system to protect against excess pressure. Drain and Fill Zone: L2 - Up to 8 Radiators: Drain your boiler's piping in order to perform necessary repairs, then refill the entire system upon completion of the repair - up to 8 radiators. Total amount: $3,975.46 I thought this seemed extremely high, so I looked up the parts at Menards. The two parts I needed to replace only cost me a combined total of $73.47 The labor took my buddy and me less than an hour to do. This company seems to take advantage of people in desperate need of heat. I will never call them for an estimate again
