  I recently had a service call from a technician from Hurlburt Heating and Plumbing. He did to an annual furnace tuneup on my boiler system. Jared did an excellent job. (I have some past experience with Jared, when earlier in the fall he resolved an air conditioning problem). He was again very thorough and excellent in his work and answering many questions I had about the boiler system maintenance. I was very pleased with his work and knowledge level. He arrived at the time he said and left the work save spotless.

  An estimator met with me because we had a leak in bathtub. He thought they might have to go into the wall to repair the leak. I received an estimate of $2,000 that I thought was based on that scope of work. As it turned out, the leak was in the valve/faucet and once that was replaced there was no more leak. No wall work was required. The faucet/shower head is $390 retail. The valve kit is another $100 retail. So $500 parts retail, $1,500 to install. That seems like far too much money for about 3 hours of work. I will be looking for competitive bids next time. Update: thank you for the reply. I did reach out to share my concerns before posting the review. I was told that most of the cost of this repair was in the parts and Hurlburt would lose money on the job if they adjusted my bill. I pointed out that the retail cost was about $500 but that was not persuasive. I will reach out to the person who responded to my post. thanks again. I do appreciate the response.

  I thoroughly appreciated Steve's help today with installing my EV charger. He was knowledgable, understanding, and answered any questions I had. He also helped me with next steps with the product, which helped me save time!

  Drew was great! He did an excellent job fixing our shower and was also able to help with a few other concerns we had. He was very knowledgeable and took the time to address everything. We’d definitely hire him again and highly recommend him!
