  We had Josh, Mike, Jagur, and Austin to do drain tile and encapsulation of a crawl space at our house. I would give them a 4.5 for the work they did. Fundamentally they did everything they were supposed to do and in some instances went out of their way to do some things that we wanted done to make the space more useable for us. The crew was great and we enjoyed having them at our house. My only criticism would be some attention to the finish work. Since we are finishing off the basement a little more care in finishing the floor concrete could have been done and there were some areas where they did the encapsulation they were not as visually clean as they could have been but that was partially due to some of the modifications they did for me so it might have been self induced. On the whole I was happy with the work they did.

  I went to the Groundworks website and selected a date for my free estimate for my cracked garage floor. A week prior to the date, I got an email with clear instructions from Groundworks. The day of, 20 minutes before the scheduled time I got a phone call from my field inspector Quentin Roth letting me know he was going to be right on time and looked forward to meeting me. Inspection went great and as everything was asI expected. He was professional, personable, and made sense of my whole situation. He was very receptive to my questions and made sure when he left that I had full understanding of the process, timeline, and price. I hired them to get the job done, got on their schedule, and I cannot wait for the finished product.

  Marc & Brandon and Travis (TO) & Josh (Wojo) from Groundworks did my repairs. I had 2 different repairs done by the two different teams of guys. They were overly communicative, especially given the uniqueness and difficulty of my project. They explained every step clearly, beforehand, and offered as much of my involvement as I wanted. They achieved the goals of my foundation project and left the job scene significantly cleaner than they found it. Upon completion, they explained any follow up that I may require and that the project would be inspected annually for 5 years, or more frequently upon my request. At this point (same day of repair) I cannot more strenuously recommend Groundworks generally, and Marc and Brandon specifically.

  Fox had burrowed under our garage cement floor. It was no longer level and was starting to crack. We were very thankful for the work done by Groundworks, from the sales rep -called a "Certified Field Inspector"- to the men who efficiently filled under our garage's cement slab with an expanding polyurethane foam system to stabilize and level the floor. There was a minor misunderstanding of the contract's agreed-upon-requirements, but it was quickly resolved. Each person we worked with went out of their way to do their job with excellent results. They stuck to their quote. The polyurethane foam is supposed to last indefinitely. We have a 5-year annual inspection, which was part of their quote, to be sure the slab stays stable. They would add foam at that time if they discovered it wasn't to the level it is today.

  I can’t say enough great things about Groundwork’s, specifically David Klein. David came out to take a look at an egress window that had water coming in this spring after snow/ice melt. We just purchased the home in Jan and not a happy surprise. He called to confirm the day prior to appt, showed up on time, was kind and courteous. Above all of that he thoroughly checked all areas to assess what the cause was and what was necessary to fix the issue. He gave us 2 options- one which involves landscaping to move water away from the house and the ultimate “concrete” fix which would entail tearing up part of the basement floor and wall from the problem room plus the neighbouring bathroom to get to the utility room. I have so much respect for companies who have integrity to give options that don’t benefit them instead of making the sale. In the long run the landscaping may only prolong the inevitable and when/if that time comes, David at Groundwork’s will be the only call I’ll be making. In today’s world finding a reputable company is few and far behind. Thank you groundwork’s for being one of the good ones!
