  I do not recommend Brass Tacks Plumbing. I called Brass Tacks last week to service a garbage disposal that was originally installed by owner Carlton Goss approximately six years ago as part of a kitchen renovation. When I scheduled the appointment, I was told there would be a $99 service fee. What I was not told was that this was essentially a diagnostic fee and did not include any actual repair work. After inspecting the disposal, the technician spent time outside "crunching numbers" and then returned with repair options ranging from $529 to over $4,000. Because the disposal was reportedly just three months beyond the warranty period, there was apparently no consideration given despite the fact that their company originally installed the unit. The most frustrating part was that only a few minutes later, the disposal was repaired. I was then presented with a $529 bill and asked to provide three separate signatures confirming that the work had been completed to my satisfaction. I felt pressured into agreeing. After waiting several days for service, having technicians already in my home, and having an unusable sink until the repair was completed, I did not feel I had much choice but to pay and sign. I hired Brass Tacks because I knew Carlton Goss from the original kitchen renovation work and trusted the company based on that experience. Unfortunately, this service call left me feeling betrayed. What should have been a straightforward repair instead felt like a high-pressure sales exercise designed to maximize revenue rather than help a customer. I also noticed negative Google reviews when I first contacted the company, but I dismissed them because of my prior positive experience. In hindsight, I wish I had paid closer attention. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Brass Tacks Plumbing. I found their pricing, sales approach, and customer service practices disappointing and would not use them again.

  Couldn’t resolve sewer odor problem initially, inspection was quick and no diagnosis given. We were told to call back for a different resolution or recommendation if the odor doesn’t improve and the plumber hasn’t responded since. Company said they would reach out but there’s no communication.

  I was extremely disappointed with the quote for this simple straight forward plumbing job. The quote was $1600.00 which is at least 3 to 4 times higher than it should be! When I asked Dan what was all involved in the job he just said he plugged the information into his tablet and that what it came up to! This was for a faucet install and reconnecting existing plumbing pipes under sink after new counter was installed. I had to pay him $99.00 for the visit which is plain robbery. I will never recommend this company!

  Seth was fantastic! He had our water heater up and running in no time. His professionalism, expertise, and outstanding customer service made the entire experience stress-free. Brass Plumbing exceeded our expectations, and I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again in the future. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of reliable plumbing services. Five stars all the way!
