Our Steel King SK2000 Teardrop pallet rack step beams are Manufactured with pride in the United States, and in accordance with RMI and AWS standards. Beams are painted with a high-durability POWDER COAT paint finish. Powder coated products offer better resistance to water and corrosion, better gloss, hardness, and adhesion. The warehouse environment can often be a hazardous one, and it is important to ensure your pallet rack upright frames are protected against collisions from forklifts and pallets. Column guards prolong the life of your pallet racking, and make for a more safe warehouse environment by shoring up the racking's structural integrity.

Ridg-U-Rak Column Protectors are the first line of defense between forklifts and your upright frames. Once damaged, upright frames often lose capacity and need to be replaced in order to ensure safety. Column protectors provide a high-strength barrier to keep lift truck tines from colliding with the upright frame. Don't wait until an accident has already happened; install column protectors and keep your warehouse operations in motion.

Ridg-U-Rak safety bars are an economical way to increase beam level capacity and provide additional support for pallets. Having safety bars means greater margin for error when loading and unloading pallets, and also decreases beam deflection (bowing out) by keeping cross beams tied together. Like wire decks, safety bars promote airflow, are more fire-safe, and are generally longer lasting than wooden beams. When replacement costs and labor is factored in, cross bars are often significantly cheaper than installing wood beams or plywood.

Ridg-U-Rak Row Spacers keep back-to-back rows of pallet racking perfectly aligned. When two rows of racking are stationed next to one another, it's possible for the rows to become warped and misaligned over time. Row spacers help prevent this, as well as stabilizing the two rows by connecting them as one. Racking that is considered too tall for the depth of its base can be made stable by connecting to another row of racking via row spacers, effectively widening the base of both rows. Ridg-U-Rak Pallet Rack shims create a more secure connection between the footplate of the upright frame and the floor. Uneven flooring is common in warehouses, particularly older ones, and can result in an insecure connection between upright frame and flooring, decreasing stability and the likelihood of movement. If there is any question as to the stability of an upright or if the racking will be installed on flooring that isn't plumb, we highly recommend the use of shims.
