  We had a fantastic experience with Wolf River Electric. They stepped in and took over our project after our original solar company unexpectedly went bankrupt, and they made what could have been a very stressful situation incredibly smooth. From day one, their team was knowledgeable, responsive, and communicative. They took the time to answer all of our questions, kept us informed throughout the entire process, and made us feel confident that our project was in good hands. Looking back, I only wish we had chosen Wolf River Electric from the start. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a professional, trustworthy, and customer-focused company.

  wanted to get solar up and running on my south facing roof contacted wolf river and got a quote in a week and the paperwork and installation within a month. i was surprised how fast the process on their end was. what felt like the slowest bit was waiting for excel energy to finally tell me i could switch it on. all told only took a month and a half from initial contact to getting the solar connected to the grid, which according to them was quite fast as excel is known for dragging their feet. only issue was that when i sent in my contact info to their office it got duplicated around and i was contacted by a few of their offices at the same time.

  I had a great experience with Wolf Electric. I thought there tech were knowledgeable in there trade. Project manager quick to respond to my questions, and keeping me informed of progress. I thought there work standards were very high.

  Wolf River Electric took over our solar project after the initial company went out of business. They come in and made sure everything was done correctly and made any adjustments needed. They were great to work with, very good at communicating and letting us know when technicians would be coming over to work on the project. The technicians were great, very informative, and left our home clean and tidy. I would highly recommend them and would plan to use them for any future solar projects we may do.

  They came to put my solar in one to two years ago, and this past winter, the snow load on my roof tore the conduit apart and left holes in my roof. I had to chase them down numerous times, making phone calls and emails daily to get them out to take a look at it when the spring came..... with holes in my roof. They asked me to get on the roof and take a picture for them. This is on the third story. I asked them just to send someone out to fix 'cause I'm concerned about the damage it was doing to my roof, and I heard crickets, period. They then scheduled a time and never showed up, and then they scheduled another time, said they would be there in the afternoon to fix it, or at least to give me a quote. They showed up early in the morning, never knocked on my door, never let me know they were there, and left. I had to, once again, track them down the following week to ask when they were going to give me a quote. And they apologized for their delay. This took over eight to ten weeks to get resolved, and when they ended up giving me a quote, it was well over two thousand dollars to fix a simple conduit, and also stated that this wasn't part of the warranty process because it was related to the conduit being pulled apart from the snow. Needless to say, I went with Champion Solar, who by far was much better repair folks and communicators, came out within 24 hours, and within 72 hours had my, my roof patched and fixed. They have also been trying to get a hold of Wolf River to get the warranty transferred to them because there's no way I can tell how the solar is working. There's no app, there's no way I can understand whether the inverters are working. Champion has been also trying to get a hold of them with crickets once again. These folks are only interested in taking your money and getting solar put in. If you need anything as far as repair or customer service, these people are terrible. Do not do anything with them would encourage you, to absolutely stay away.. So make sure you go with someone that has good customer service and has the ability and desire to come back and help you if you need anything. I live in the Pepin, Wisconsin area, and my recommendation would be Champion Solar for repair. These folks are terrible.If I could give less then one star I would
