  My husband and I had a wonderful experience with City Homes and the construction of our new row house. They were very professional at every step of the process...always accommodating and the quality of workmanship was top notch. The team we worked with was helpful and knowledgeable, with tremendous attention to detail. We were impressed at every step of the process and would definitely work with them again if given the chance. We love our new home!

  We worked with City Homes to build our new home. Rebecca was engaged and incredibly helpful through the entire process from identifying the best lot to build on all the way through the build working to solve challenges that arose along the way. We had remodeled homes in the past, but were new to the new build process, and the City Holes team were there to guide us I order to make the best choices for our project possible, sharing their broad depth of knowledge along the way.   BEWARE ADJOINING PROPERTY OWNERS! If your property adjoins one of their projects we would advise that you attend public meetings and ask for all site impacts and any mitigation for neighboring properties to be put in writing. We made the mistake of trusting that city homes would take care of proper grading and water diversion on our lot and instead will now be paying upwards of $1800 to fix the drainage problem they created. Because the problem is now on our property, we are financially responsible. And, we were just told by the city of Edina that the way to handle the winter snow and ice accumulation in our side lot would be to shovel out the 16 inch wide side lot and deposit the snow in the street. Who wants to shovel their yard all winter? The $1800 fix will only deal with rain water and will not fix the in adequate grading that was done In our side yard to move water away from our foundation and window Wells. I wish we had demanded that they take care of this in writing before we had said we were ok with the project. If you live in Edina and have one of these projects scheduled to go in next door to you, make a point to get commitments from these guys that they will not mess up your property.

  Cityhomes continues to be one of our favorite builders. They care about their customers and pay attention to the small details.
