  Tom accepted the task of reinstalling pavers and mortar on our front door steps. I had removed the pavers that were loose and cleaned off the old mortar. Tom only needed to grid out some of the remaining loose mortar and then return the pavers using mortar to secure them in place. He did a great job demonstrating his patients and attention to detail. As the mortar set he would carefully sponge off the excess mortar from the surface of the pavers (similar to wiping grout off of tiles). However, the paver have a textured, pores surface and any attempt to wipe off the excess mortar was in vain. The next day using my power washer, I very carefully blasted off the grout off just the pavers--a task that I would have expected Tom to do the next day. The job looks great, but too bad I had to finish the job for the price I paid.
