- AMAl MatezevichOct 22, 20262.0I would like to start off by saying that the staff was great. It is the product that was terrible. I am reseeding my yard and I had picked up some straw bales from a competitor and their product was what you would expect. They ran out so I decided to get my bales from Hoffman, they were also $1.50 per bale cheaper as well. I thought that's great, I will get my bales in the future from them and they are closer to my house. I picked up 5 bales from them and when I went to cut them open and use I found that there was corn cobbs, stocks, and husks mixed in the straw. It was quite a bit as well, I filled a wheelbarrow up with just 4 bales that I used. I spent more time going around and picking up the debris. I am very dissatisfied with the product. I will gladly pay more for a product that I don't have sift through.
