  We had Joseph come out and check out some goofy electronic stuff happening around my house. We were so confused we thought we maybe have had a ghost or an entity because it was so weird. Joseph took his time, worked through the issues and when it was diagnosed he took the time to make sure I fully understood the options in front of my and helped decided the best route for us! We will 100% use them again, we are even having the BIG job of a new electrical panel put in soon! The install of the electrical panel was so smooth! Joseph and Jeremy were punctual, and efficient. They also obviously enjoyed what they were doing and who they were working with. That energy made what could feel stressful for a resident a pleasant experience. No complaints on our end.. still very satisfied!

  I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Mike Lemke. We’ve had several HVAC companies out to evaluate our high-velocity air conditioning system, and Mike was truly exceptional. He spent an incredible amount of time at our home looking over the system, answering my many questions, and explaining our options in a way that was easy to understand. Not once did I feel rushed or pressured into making a decision. Mike is one of the most personable, kind, honest, and knowledgeable HVAC professionals I’ve met. What stood out most was that I genuinely felt he was trying to help us make the right decision for our home rather than simply trying to make a sale. When I had a very specific question he wasn’t 100% certain about, he immediately called the company’s VP directly to get me an answer. That said a lot to me about both Mike and the company as a whole. You can really tell this is a close-knit, locally owned family company with people who take pride in their work and support one another. They also have an impressive depth of expertise across heating, cooling, electrical, and plumbing, and their knowledge of high-velocity systems in particular gave me a lot of confidence. Their proposal for replacing our high-velocity AC system was also very competitive, and I was extremely impressed by what they include for new customers. Their two-year program comes with maintenance, tune-ups, discounts, and other benefits, and the 10-year parts and labor coverage on our proposed new system really stood out. Knowing that we would have that kind of support behind such a major investment gives me tremendous peace of mind. After dealing with a lot of contractors and service companies lately, Mike was such a breath of fresh air. Knowledgeable without being pushy, thorough without making you feel rushed, and just an incredibly kind and personable person. I’m so glad we found him and this company, and I would recommend Mike Lemke without hesitation.

  Sean (electrician) thoroughly addressed my concerns, he even went above and beyond to check additional possible electrical issues in my home. He even accommodated my limited schedule, even though I'm sure it wasn't really convenient for him. I'm very pleased with the high-quality service and truly knowledgeable professionals employed by Genz-Ryan (had a full furnace and AC installation). I'll continue to be a loyal customer, especially with some big future projects. :) Donovan was also a very knowledgeable and helpful electrician for a different issue. He even offered to inspect my old breaker box (1970s) and do extra troubleshooting. Will definitely continue to use this company for further work. (A whole basement project in their future!)

  I am not the home owner so I did not get a say in the decision on the quote to replace water heater. Home owner was quoted 4K for a 40 gallon electric WH. This level of price gauging is absurd. The tech seemed dismiss when I reminded him a top brand 40 gal electric WH should cost no more than $6-800. The installation and permits don’t run 3k. I rent so I feel obliged to post a review about Genz Ryan practices. On top of it, the city inspector said the work needs to be completed. Two items installed incorrectly and an electrical inspection was not scheduled. I have lived in Twin cities 25+ years. Never have I been gauged by this company, and I will not recommend or use going forward. In this economy!! Are you kidding me Genz Ryan??? (I couldn’t post zero stars.)

  Benny A was phenomenal from start to finish, and I want to say up front: I don't usually leave reviews, but he genuinely earned this one. We have an older home with a tricky layout, and getting a new furnace and AC installed was never going to be a simple job. Benny worked with us every step of the way — he took the time to understand the challenges of our house, found solutions where a lot of installers would have just thrown up their hands or charged a fortune for the extra complexity, and still got us a great price. Communication was excellent throughout: he explained what he was doing, why, and what to expect, so there were never any surprises. The install itself was seamless. Clean work, clear timeline, no shortcuts — just careful, professional execution on a job that had every reason to be a headache and somehow wasn't. If you're dealing with an older home or a non-standard setup, Benny is exactly who you want handling it. Could not recommend him more highly.
