Poor customer service - the so-called ‘owner’ seemed shady and didn’t seem happy to try and work with me let alone talk to me. I’m building a big house just west of their location and this is the place my builder referred me to. I wouldn’t recommend stopping here if they were the last lumberyard in town. Definitely go to Home Depot or Menards instead. In this day and age when customer service is everything - avoid this place. Not just the owner either. The snarky attitude from the two people in their showroom should’ve been my first warning. I realize all experiences are not the same but I would venture out and see/visit other options. You have nothing to lose do you? If your builder only buys from here then that should tell you all you need to know. Too much money is being spent on building materials to have to deal with thisZ just my experience and $.02 cents.

I had a bad experience with this company.
I purchased Custom shelving units (Diane was the person I dealt with).
She came out and measured my closet, drew up a sketch of what was suggested and I purchased the closet. The shelves I had before were wire racking and I wanted the Cherry look.
I chose Freedom Rail. The Lumber yard put together the shelves and installed them at my home. My closet is dark and low lighting. They appeared to be fine.
Freedom Rail.
After the shelves were installed there was a small shelf on each side of my closet that did not work for me. I had drawers there in the past and the shelf was 24” and too small to put anything on it. I asked if I could return the two small shelves, and purchase a two drawer set. She put the order in and asked if I could pick it up and install it myself. My husband could so when they arrived I looked at them at the show room.
There were many nicks in the front of the units which I could see now due to the great lighting in the show room. The man working there at the time said to leave them and the representative of the Freedom rail would be in on Tuesday and he could show him.
I got a call back from Diane that Monday. She informed me that the Rep said they would give me a $25.00 credit or return the shelved. When I got home that day I looked at the drawers that were installed at my home. As I looked closer I noticed those too had nicks in them. I was told that nothing was to be done about the ones they installed as I had already accepted them. I asked Diane to have the Rep call me. She told me he would not.
I asked Diane if I could speak with her manager. She said he would be in Tuesday Afternoon. I tried calling him at 2:00 pm. Diane answered the phone and said he got the message and trusted her to make all the decisions. Wow I am shocked that a customer, who just wants another option about a product can’t get a call back. I did not want damaged merchandise. I did not even get the option to return the two units that are still at their store for new ones that don’t have nicks. So I am stuck with damaged merchandise and horrible taste in my mouth from this Lumber Company. Diane said
The manufacture said they would send a crayon that would “match” the nicks. Wow I am not so impressed.
