  Colleen at Huron Flooring was so helpful and knowledgeable, returning calls promptly and even staying late to get my project on track. They also have so many wonderful choices for flooring, with samples that you can take home! Unfortunately, I did not have the same experience with flooring when I started my project with Lowe's. At Lowe's, flooring area staff were unsure how to answer my questions and gave a time estimate for installation that ended up being 3 weeks off! The installation company arranged through Lowe's was very unhelpful. Huron Flooring and Carpet was the opposite, going out of their way to answer all my questions and keep to a tight timeline. I am so thankful I found them! Thanks Colleen.

  Very good price on a carpet that looked and felt very good for one with a lowish face weight. Liked the installer until I discovered he'd broken a couple of closet doors. When I asked him about this he said they were fine when he left the house, which isn't possible. Only $145 for me to fix them since I found replacements at Restore (otherwise much more). Very disappointed that Huron's owner denied responsibility. If they cannot accept responsibility for such a small amount of damage--5% of the job cost--then they certainly cannot be trusted to stand by their work when a larger amount is at stake.

  Great products, and we had a very talented installer. However, the whole customer service was the WORST I have ever had to deal with. Didn’t honor dates, didn’t return calls, and didn’t care. Owner was no more responsive than their sales force (which didn’t care either). I would never deal with them again, and would recommend that you don’t deal with them either. If I could rate them lower, I would.
