  Anna the receptionist got us scheduled quickly and had all our questions addressed. Lukas was the electrician assigned to the work and did a great job replacing the 220 Generac module that had failed. However his social skills were lacking. Russ the Lead Tech also kept us informed of the status of the repair and explained what ultimately needed to be done. Jacob also arrived and performed annual maintenance on our Generac generator. All services were performed promptly and to our satisfaction!

  Andrew was professional and completed the maintenance work on my air conditioner and HVAC system timely. Lucas was also very professional and performed my electrical inspection timely and provided a recommendation for whole house surge protector that I'm planning on installing in the future. The final cost is for plumbing that I had to reschedule with no problem.

  We had a furnace purchased and installed about 3 years ago, that now has a clear gas smell coming from it. I figured - easy fix, they talked all about the warranty when they sold the furnace so it should be a quick call to get them out here to fix the leak. NOPE! They aren’t able to come out without charging a $100 labor fee to fix it. Their 10 year warranty only applies to parts. Anything that they as the company actually screwed up can only be fixed within 2 years for free. They have no ability to waive the labor fee due to company policy. So when you decide to spend thousands of dollars on a brand new furnace from this company, better hope they don’t screw up too much. Luckily, everyone knows that new furnaces start leaking after 3 years so this is only to be expected (only a bit of sarcasm there)! I should even tip them the next time they come out since they’ve been doing such a stellar job.

  Very Disappointed following my recent air conditioner service call. Tech diagnosed issue to be faulty contactor and quoted the repair at $500. Though I considered the price excessive, I approved the work based on his recommendation. Following the repair, the unit was still not working and it was clear the tech was struggling with the assignment. After the tech's calls to his support team did not yield a solution, I asked him to stop. I discussed the concern with a supervisor at Royal Oak and it became clear they would take no financial responsibility for the incorrect diagnosis. Royal Oak Heating and Cooling did offer to continue the work but only at my expense. I then decided to call another company which came out and fixed it quickly at half the cost. I expected better service and accountability from Royal Oak Heating and Cooling.

  DO NOT FALL FOR THE SERVICE PLAN SCAM. When I had A/C work done I purchased the service plan where they do inspections of all the plumbing, HVAC, and electrical. My issue is with the plumber who came out. I walked with him around the house as he checked everything including the water heater. After leaving him alone to do the water tank flush he comes back to tell me the tank is now leaking and will cost $300 to fix. It was only 2 years old and perfectly fine before he touched it. We had both just looked at it. It was bone dry and hour ago and now "coincidentally" there's this active leak? I can't prove it but I'm convinced he loosened it so he could make a few extra bucks on the repair.
