The team got me scheduled first available date for installation, showed up on-time, even sent a picture of the lead installer so I knew who to expect. Team was very professional, demo'd existing HVAC and installed a new one in 1 day (8:30am to 4:00pm). They cleaned up pretty well, just had to run the vacuum after they left and dust the surfaces in the utility area. The A/C was working fine, but furnace was not working when they left. Had to reschedule to get another technician to come out to repair it 3 days later. He said the first team did not wire the unit properly, which has both blown a fuse, and burnt out the new thermostat and my humidifier solenoid, all which they say they will replace under warranty, on yet now a 3rd visit which is yet to be scheduled. Overall, I'm happy they are providing a 10 years parts and 10 years labor warranty because if this is how it starts, I have a feeling, that it's likely going to continue.

I have a home warranty, and started a claim prior to the company arriving. I was instructed by the home warranty company to have the technician contact them prior to completing the repair. The company arrived while I was at work, but I spoke to them over the telephone, provided the home warranty phone number and claim number and asked them to call the home warranty company. They declined to do so, and said that if the home warranty company insisted on speaking with them, they would call them first thing the next morning, and they completed the repair. I went home that evening, called the home warranty company with the invoice and repair information and they, again, insisted on speaking to the technician to get a verbal diagnosis of the problem. I then call the repair company and they were closed for the night. left a message that I needed the technician to contact me, as he promised, to call me first thing in the morning. I got a text message back, saying that my message was escalated to the Manager of the HVAC department. The technician never called and the Manager never called me. Because of Royal Oak Heating and Cooling's lack of customer service and their lies, I have now lost the opportunity to file a claim that would have saved me several hundred dollars.

Had this company come out in 2023 and replace an electrical outlet on the vack of my garage. Socket shorted out, shocked me when I went to uncover the box to see what was going on. Generally , the only time that happens is when there's a connection with the ground wire that is not properly installed or covered. So I turned off the power to the garage and started to remove the box. Water started coming out of the bottom of the box , which I realized at that time , they hadn't sealed the box properly. I couldn't find the receipt as to who did the work to call to come back and fix it.So I didn't want to touch any further and called a different electrical contractor. They came out and removed the box, which was severely rusted on the bottom.Actually, arc, on where the plug would go into the socket. And you couldn't even get one of the screws out because it was so badly rusted. I had to pay another almost five hundred dollars to have the box replaced again. That contractor told me, had it been done correctly.I wouldn't have had to change it for years. However, I also could have lost everything. My garage, everything in it.I have a swimming pool for what are caught my cars? My house and possibly even my life. I continued to search for the rreceopt nd finally found it. It was Royak oak , hitting and cooling , and cost me $429. So I contacted them. After several attempts speaking with rob and then the general manager Nick , I also sent them photographs and said I have the parts they said they would get back to me. Today Rob called to inform me that there's nothing they can do to help me that anything could've hit that box like a lawn mower, which is I'm because it's like 3 feet up off the ground. So I don't know how that would be possible or anything could have happened. I told him there was a garden in front of it , and he said if I were called down , they would have done the replacement for free , but there was nothing they could do about it now. Well, I don't know about anyone else, but would you want the company who almost burnt your property down to come back and redo it?? I told him that was fine.I'll file a complete with the state which is where I go next.I just wanted to leave my review, but I guess seeing how they only have 3 stars out of 5 it is very apparent that they don't put customers first. Maybe this will help to investigate their bad work ethics!
Royal Oak Heating, Cooling & Electrical have done a couple of jobs for me at two different houses. Both times the whole process was straight-forward and easy. Their pricing is competitive or better than other vendors.
This last job was a large electrical job for new lighting in every room of the house. Russell and Ethan, who worked on the job, did a great job. They were very professional and timely. There were a lot of details to discuss about the job, so they were very communicative when they needed decisions or information.
