  Michael was outstanding with his work. We had a VERY late night emergency that couldn’t wait with having 3 kids. The company was able to get someone out (Michael) in a low amount of time and address the issue quickly as well. Michael was awesome seeing as the issue was right outside of my kids bedroom window, and they weren’t woken up at all! Highly recommend this company’s services and make sure to ask for Michael. Thank you again if you see this, Michael!

  the plumber was very thorough, he cared about the quality of his work, he even cleaned his workspace before leaving. the owner of the company was very helpful with my appointment. great employees, great boss, great company. the only drawback was the price was above my budget.

  I called them out because my toilet was backed up and wouldn’t consistently flush. The first day the gentlemen snaked it and it seemed to be fixed. Six hours later it was backed up again. He came out a second time and did a quick snaking and was sure to tell me he would charge me again if he had to come back out. AN HOUR after he left the toilet was not flushing properly. They essentially charged me a bunch of money to perform a useless service twice. I called to complain about this and was told they wouldn’t send anyone out to determine what’s actually wrong with the toilet unless I paid more than the $350+ I’d already spent. They told me they would tell their upper management and implied that they would get back to me, but I have received no call from them. Now not only does the toilet backup, but the flusher gets stuck, which was not an issue before he came out the first time. Avoid these people and go with a different company, save yourself that headache.

  I scheduled a service call to repair an AC that was not cooling. The tech arrived and was very condescending and after checking the unit he told me it was a shorted wire that had caused the fuse to blow. He said he would replace the fuse and wire to resolve the issue, which I approved. He latter informed me that his diagnosis was wrong and that I needed to pay for his misdiagnosis and then he would give me an estimate to replace the compressor since it was completely “shot”. I said I didn’t think I should have to pay for his misdiagnosis since my AC was still not fixed, but was told since I had “authorized” the “repair” I was obligated to pay the “repair” cost. I received the new estimate of $3,600 (coincidentally the same price I had paid a few years earlier to install a new AC) to replace the compressor. I decided to have another tech come out to get a second opinion and he properly diagnosed the problem and fixed it for about 10% of Edward’s estimate. Either Edward’s tech was incompetent or dishonest, but in any case I will never do business with this company.

  If all plumbers were raptured tomorrow and Edwards Plumbing was the last plumbers left on earth I still wouldn't hire them again. I hired them to hook up a gas dryer, the individual they sent out not only did the job incorrectly but later admitted he had hooked up the dryer in an "illegal" manner against code. The dryer did not work after the installation and the he left with the gas to my entire house turned off (obviously he did not check to see if the dryer worked before leaving). He also left a gigantic kink the copper piping meaning the dryer, once the gas was resorted, still did not work. I then spent 2 days playing phone tag with their phone operators (which were all very nice they are the only good part of this business) until i finally got the same guy to come out again just for him to tell me that a third guy had to come out the next day. So using my math that's 2 different guys and 3 separate visits to hook up a dryer. The 3rd guy came out and seemed more knowledgeable than the 1st and offered solutions to the problem but after not having a working dryer for 5+ days I had had enough and they did refund me the cost of the previous work. Sadly, the story doesn't end there because I was informed by a different plumbing company that the attachment to the dryer was discovered to be leaking gas. I have never left a poor review before for a business and was not planning to until this potential risk were pointed out to me as Edwards plumbing posed a risk to my home and family which is unacceptable. I hope they changed their hiring and training practices in order to provide better service. I will also say that I did receive a call from Edwards Plumbing today (day after original post) and they were very apologetic. This does not change the outcome but it is nice that they do take responsibility and accountability something that is not often seen in business today. P.S. please don't fire the guy mistakes are chance to learn and grow
