  We hired Perfect Floors for an approximately $20,000 project that included hardwood refinishing, new hardwood installation, and carpet. While the carpet turned out well, the hardwood experience was very disappointing. The initial hardwood work was poor enough that Perfect Floors agreed most of it needed to be redone. During the redo, some rooms that were supposed to be left alone were refinished, while others that needed to be redone were missed. One room that originally looked good was made worse during a repair and ultimately had to be completely refinished. Stain was also left on cabinets, a bathroom sink, baseboards, walls, stairs, and our marble fireplace. We had to hire a painter and stone repair professional to address the damage. Perfect Floors did contribute $2,500 toward those repairs. What bothered us most was that once problems developed, we were told Perfect Floors normally did not do this type of hardwood work and had done us a favor by hiring a third party. During the sales process, however, the hardwood work was presented as part of the project Perfect Floors could handle. Our entire contract was with Perfect Floors, not the subcontractor, so we expected them to take ownership of the work regardless of who performed it. Even after the additional work, there are still visible sanding marks and polyurethane issues. Perfect Floors provided an additional $1,000 reduction, which we appreciated, and the carpet work was done nicely. However, given the approximately $20,000 cost, repeated hardwood problems, damage to our home, and stress involved, we were disappointed with the overall experience.

  Excellent experience having used them twice. The first was for the purchase and installation of hardwood floors for my bedroom, foyer, hallway, closet and study. The second was for the same hardwood flooring a couple years later in my kitchen and laundry room. The experience was great both times. I worked with Tom Williams to choose the hardwood flooring and Darren was the installer on both occasions. He did a great job taking his time to ensure the flooring was installed with high-quality. He carefully installed the kitchen flooring meshing it with the same existing hardwood in the hallway so it’s all one level and it looks like it was all put in at the same time even though it was a couple years apart. when he took the washer and dryer out of the laundry room he told me that the laundry hoses were older and recommended they be replaced. He also noticed that the water shut off valves in the laundry room didn’t shut off all the way and there was a small drip. He went into my garage and found a bucket to place underneath and alerted me right away so I could call the plumber. Overall I’m extremely happy with the product I purchased, the installation, and my overall experience.

  From the first contact everyone was helpful and knowledgeable.. They allowed my husband and I time to look at the various carpet swatches without pressure. My husband now walks on the carpet in the lower level and says it feels like a cloud. We really appreciate the installers as well. They were diligent making sure everything was correct. Thank you for a job well done. The carpet is beautiful!

  We had an outstanding experience! We dealt with our salesman, Ron. He made the entire flooring purchase process a pleasure. He came out measured and quoted the carpeting job. Then we did everything else over the phone. We called in the deposit and less than a week later we had brand new carpeting ordered and installed. The installers were great too! They were meticulous in their installation. In the areas where there are seems where the carpet meets, it is virtually undetectable.
