  I suspect due to the heat of the day the normal time for the trash run was at least an hour earlier than normal. A resident had not put his tote at the street for pick up. The team on this route stopped and retrieved the tote from beside the home, checked to assure trash was present I. The tote then processed the pick up like it was no big deal. Well it was, to me at least. Rarely have I witnessed service at this level.

  They're great until there happens to be construction on the route which leads to your house then drivers get lazy and they skip over entire streets on trash collection day! 2 weeks in a row now I had to call because my streets trash was not picked up on schedule and the lady I spoke with over the phone stated she told the driver to make sure to get our street yesterday, yet he didn't. That tells me he's a lazy driver that wanted to get his route done sooner rather than later and needs to be replaced!

  Traffic backed up by the beaches in Monroe county because trash bins were left in the street blocking traffic. My husband and I watched the truck fly down our street to grab the trash bins. I mean way over the speed limit. We stared in disbelief and hoped a child wasn't around because they couldn't safely stop their truck at that speed. A child would be killed. That's why residential areas are 25 mph, not 60mph. Damaged the back of my car grabbing the bins from the claw and throwing the bins in the street. Leaves garbage in the street when it falls out of the trashcan. It's pure laziness on their part to leave those large and heavy cans in major streets that people travel. I didn't choose this company, it was picked for me but I will make sure I have a day at contract renewal time. It's never acceptable to damage someone's property or not obey the speed limit putting children in jeopardy. Contact your city or township directly because the supervisors at Stevens don't care at all.

  We are on a township contract for waste disposal so we deal with things in a little bit of a compartmented fashion but I MUST SAY, the Steven's Disposal Office Staff is patient with customers reporting an issue or inquiring about what they believe might become one... It can be difficult to find Folks who basically appreciate an issue for what it is and far too often, the Office Staff which one can deal with actually becomes inflammatory with their demeanor in dealing with their customer... That is DEFINITELY not the case with Steven's Office Staff. Genuine concern that whatever issue is at hand is handled appropriately. KUDOS!!! And "THANK YOU"

  So I threw out a tire in my trash I don't know if they picked these up Republic didn't seem to have a problem with it the driver instead of leaving it on the curb like a professional threw it in the middle of my lawn like he was going to teach me a lesson I called the company over and over again and finally got a call from the supervisor the supervisor stuck up for the driver saying he just probably wasn't paying attention no sir you do not throw a tire in the middle of a customer's lawn ever since this company has taken over trash pickup in our neighborhood it's been a freaking joke they tend to leave trash all over the roads leave the cans knocked down and clearly don't care about their jobs it's almost as if the company treats their employees like garbage no pun intended I mean seriously look at their reviews need I say more
