I accidentally damaged copper water feed lines that fed into a bathroom from inside a wall that came up from basement inside a cramped crawl space, when I tried to remove a 1/2-inch Compression x 3/8-in OD Compression Brass Quarter turn Stop Straight valve that started leaking as it was corroded and stuck to the feed pipe and broke the pipe(s), causing a lot of water to start flooding downstairs in that cramped crawl space, was able to find the shut off valve and stop the water.
I ended up calling Edward's Plumbing as it was late and most of the plumbing companies were closed, their emergency repairman had to cancel that night and came the next day, Court Vandebogart came out from Edward's Plumbing and got to work, after some investigative work, had to cut a large square piece of drywall to see what damage was upstairs then went downstairs into the cramped crawl space and diagnosed exactly where the pipe(s) that got damaged, cut out all the damaged piping and replaced with new copper feed lines and properly soldered all pipes making sure there were no leaks whatsoever, then installed a new water shut off valve that was closer to the bathroom as the older shut off valve didn't shut off water completely, then came upstairs and installed new 1/2-inch Compression x 3/8-in OD Compression Brass Quarter turn Stop Straight valve then put drywall back in place and reinstaled the water line from valve to the toilet then turned water back on, he was very professional, friendly and explained all work he performed and took pictures and showed them to us, no leaks whatsoever and there was also a bad vibration in the water lines that stopped, thanks for the 5 star repair.

The initial troubleshooting and inspection visit mis-diagnosed the issue with my hot water heater. I was told by the technician that my problem was with the gas control valve. This mistake caused an unneeded warranty claim to the manufacturer and extended the time my house was without hot water.
The second visit consisted of replacing the mid-diagnosed part, where the technician had to break the original to get it removed, could not disconnect the burner assembly due to attempting to unfasten it the opposite way, and lacked the proper tools. When the professional has to ask the customer for tools, it’s a basic red flag. I also paid for this second trip that did not accomplish anything.
The following appointment was much better. The technician Paul listened to our concerns, correctly diagnosed the issue (a defective thermopile) and completed the repair. He was courteous and professional. Paul is the only reason I considered three stars instead of one.

Called due to a suspected water pressure regulator issue. Keane had it and 2 valves replaced with soldered copper in a few hours while also cleaning the entire area. Highly reccomend Edwards Plumbing & Heating and if you're in the Washtenaw area ask for Keane.
