  I’ve been having what I thought was an issue with my AC tripping the breaker box. Turns out it was something else entirely. Landon was my tech. He figured everything out. He had to do some repair work. Cleaned everything up. Taught me some things about my furnace. Landon was very friendly and professional.

  Absolutely fantastic experience with Family Heating and Cooling! I was able to get a same-day appointment, and Chloe in the office was incredibly friendly and helpful. Mace, the technician, was outstanding! He took the time to explain everything in detail and made sure we completely understood what was going on. The parts were covered under warranty, and the entire experience couldn’t have gone better. Mace was awesome and truly represents what great customer service should look like. He is a HUGE asset to the Family Heating and Cooling team. Highly recommend!

  Efficient and professional. Romario explained what he was doing, shared the various meter readings and their meaning as he diagnosed the issue, and helped me understand how to care for the system better in the future.

  I had a great experience with Family Heating and Cooling! Romero came out exactly when they said he would and was friendly, professional, and efficient. He took the time to show me exactly what was going on with my AC and explained everything clearly. Their pricing was very reasonable, especially for a Saturday service call. Romero did a great job, and I really appreciated how thorough and honest he was. Family Heating and Cooling definitely has a new customer! I’ll be calling them in the future for any heating or cooling issues, as well as my annual AC and furnace maintenance. Highly recommend!

  I had Family heating & cooling come out and install a new air conditioning unit at my house in May of 2022. The other day my air conditioning unit stopped working, me being an electrician is checked the fuse and found that it was blown. So i replaced the fuse and the unit started working. A week later, the fuse blew again. So I replaced it and the unit started working. But I was concerned that something was causing the fuse to blow, so I called Family Heating and Cooling to have them come check it out. They told me my service warranty had expired so I would have to pay a 95.00 service call fee for them to send someone out to see what was wrong, but my unit did have a 10 year warranty on parts. So I told them to come on out since it was them who installed it. A service guy name Steve came out and looked at my unit. He discovered a problem and checked with the company to see if he could replace the part and the company gave him permission. Steve not only replaced the part, he went over the whole unit, checking everything on it to assure that the unit was running as it was suppose to and that there was no futher issues with the unit. Whats important to note here, is that this company did not give me any run around. They didn't try to give an excuse not to cover the cost of the part and charge me for unnecessary repair work. Instead, they came out and treated me as though I was a new customer and not an old customer. The repair guy Steve was very professional and went out of his way to assure my unit was in good condition. He didn't just come, do the work, and leave. He went the extra mile to fully check my unit. I highly recommend this company at the John R location in Madison Heights.
