  I called Groundworks regarding loose exterior bricks, and Derek provided outstanding service. He took the time to investigate the entire house to locate the root cause rather than offering a quick fix. What impressed me most was how clearly he explained his findings, testing process, and the structural science behind potential solutions. His thorough approach was both educational and reassuring. I highly recommend Derek for his expertise and clear communication!.

  I met with Mark Thompson this evening for an inspection and assessment of foundational issues associated with ground settling and developing “step-type cracking” of mortar and bricking. After examining my basement for evidence of water leakage and cracks in the foundation, Mark explained and demonstrated, the laser level measurements of my basement walls before proceeding to the external laser leveling measurements. I felt very comfortable with his explanations. He was honest and straight forward in his assessments and resulting recommendations, and was very transparent with his quote, never trying to up-sale with work he did not feel was required.

  I had my basement repaired using the FSM AquaDuct system. Recently there was an issue with a missed appointment. I now have a new contact person for Groundworks his name is (Rock-n-Roll) Joe Grech. He has provided great communication and resolution to my issues when they happen. He personally stopped out after the install was completed to make sure I was happy with work. Thanks Joe.

  I was supposed to be getting a a free quote. They sent Chad out here and he gave a good presentation of what I need he gave me a price which was too high then told me I could lock in a better price but I'd have to complete an application in order to do so so I did. He told me I would have six days to cancel it. I cancelled it the very next morning! They charged me 4k because he hasn't responded to the cancellation request, the only thing he said was " I got your email" and nothing else since despite the fact that I have called/texted and email him daily every since! It's now 8 days since he's been here and still not cancelled. I'm a new home owner and all of this is very overwhelming. I now have to dispute these charges.

  I wish I could give them a lower review like 0 stars…they are quick to get out to sell you on a job, quick to take your money, but slow to get out and do the work, if they show. Put a down payment down for the work to be done and given a date of service 4 weeks out. (We were told they were very busy). On the day of service we were give a window between 8:00 - 10:00. When I had not heard from anyone because we were told they would reach out to us in the morning called about 8:15 and was told that we are on the schedule and they would call 1/2 hour before they would be here. NO PHONE CALL until 10:20 to say sorry can’t make it today, no explanation no can we reschedule for another day just SORRY someone will contact you about rescheduling. After an hour of no call reached out to the salesperson who said person who said he would check into it and get back to us by the end of the day. (Never got back to us and reached out around 4:30 and got a snotty answer that it wasn’t the end of the day yet). Tried to contact the company numerous times and the answer was someone will get back to you they are busy in meetings. Never got a response. To date still never got a response as to what they are going to do. So I can not recommend this company as they are quick to make promises, quick to take your money, can’t even have the decency to return a phone call. Still waiting.
