We called them when our water went out. We have a well, and they made it clear that they will not service a faulty pump if it is in the well (it is). The technician diagnosed the problem as an old/faulty bladder tank. He replaced it and the system still did not work. He cited that there was no electricity to the motor. I had my Consumers engineer friend come out and he did a simple electricity check and found that there was, indeed, power to the motor, but at an amperage that indicated a faulty well pump. So at this point I have paid $1833 for replacing a certainly-not-at-fault bladder tank. I called the well guy and, after he chastised me for using Michigan Plumbing (!), he did the work and replaced the well pump, only to find that the bladder tank was faulty! He left me his bill and I called again, fuming, relaying about the faulty bladder tank. They happily sent out a new tech - who did not have a tank with him, so called me to tell me he would have to come back tomorrow. NO, I told him - it would need to get replaced today. He senses my urgency and made arrangements to secure a tank and return to eventually fix the problem - after a total bill of $3496 … for a $1660 issue. Michigan Plumbing gets no love from me ever again.

Chadwick and Ryan did a phenomenal job unclogging our main sewer line! They explained the process, identified the issue, fixed it, and gave advice on preventing the problem in the future. Professional and kind! Much appreciated.

We recently had a clogged toilet in our basement, and naturally we were worried the problem might be something serious beneath the concrete floor. We tried everything we could think of ourselves, including plunging, using a toilet auger, and even flushing with hot water, but nothing worked. That's when we called Michigan Plumbing, and the excellent service started from the very first phone call. The customer service representative took the time to ask questions about the issue and what troubleshooting steps we had already tried. Even better, they were able to offer us an appointment window within an hour of our call. Ezra Wells arrived right on time, put on shoe covers before entering the house, listened carefully to our concerns, and took the time to assess the situation. Rather than jumping to conclusions or immediately suggesting expensive repairs, he methodically worked through several possible causes and explained everything in clear, easy-to-understand terms. Most importantly, Ezra focused on solving the problem instead of selling us services we didn't need. He successfully resolved the issue, saved us a great deal of stress, and gave us confidence that we were in good hands. It's rare to find this combination of professionalism, expertise, honesty, and outstanding customer service. Michigan Plumbing has earned a customer for life. A special thank-you to Ezra Wells for going above and beyond. Highly recommended!
