  Our garage door works again smoothly. Our technician, Damien, was knowledgeable, explained the problem, and fixed it. He was professional and hardworking. The only issue was the cost of the repair. Paid much more than we were expecting to and were in desperate need to get our cars out of the garage due to appointments early Monday morning.

  Derek was very patient, attentive to details and flexible. He gave us the apt service we were looking for. He did a great job with our garage door exactly as per our needs. If there is someone who can patiently listen to your needs and work with you, it would be Derek. A1 garage were easy to work with and their scheduling service was easy and approachable. Our garage doors stopped working over the weekend and we couldn't find anyone else who would repair as fast as A1 garage services did. Kudos to you guys for being so customer focussed and thanks for being swift and help us keep the zone hazard free. 5 stars for Derek's amazing service. We will always come back to A1 garage doors and Derek.

  Ian Thorpe a Technician with A1 Garage Door Service came out to our home today to repair the broken spring on our garage door. He was tremendously professional, knowledgeable, and went the extra mile to make sure he went above and beyond simply fixing the broken spring. He advised my husband and I on the best quality and most cost-effective spring to replace the broken one. After he replaced the spring, he took the extra time to repair and tune up parts of the track and arm to ensure the door lifts and closes more smoothly and quietly. All said, he spent well over 2 hours, in the stifling heat of our garage working on our door and system. He took his time to do the job properly and despite the temperature, wasn't in a rush. We wouldn't hesitate to call him in the future and would highly recommend him to any family member, friend, or neighbor.

  Brandon did a great job- arrived on time . (Actually earlier than the time period noted. he called ahead of time to let me know the approximate time he would be arriving. Brandon took the time to explain to me what was wrong. He offered suggestions to fix the problem . He showed me on the iPad – the options available to me. He explained exactly what each option was and why one would be better over the other.

  Nice guy came out, said the door was dangerous and the springs were shot and couldn't be fixed. Company quoted thousands to replace them used pressure selling to get us to sign for a new door. We called another company who fixed the springs and the whole door for a few hundred dollars in less.than an hour. If you are being pressured with a "great price, just for today" walk away. Get another quote. We didn't appreciate having smoke blown at us and the tactics were really transparent. Always get 2 or 3 estimate. If the company tries to rush or pressure you, you know the deal stinks.
