We hired Ace Handyman Services North Oakland County to help get our house ready for the market after our Realtor gave us a long punch list of repairs. Chris and Mark handled everything from drywall repairs and painting to caulking, screen repair, tile touch-ups, door adjustments, and dozens of other small projects.
They arrived on time, communicated well, took pride in their work, and genuinely cared about doing the job right. Ace's office was equally impressive with transparent pricing, excellent communication, and even suggested sending only one technician back the second day to save us money.
One money-saving tip: ask if you can purchase the materials yourself. We bought everything from Home Depot, returned what wasn't used, and saved a considerable amount.
The house looks fantastic. If you want professionals who show up, stand behind their work, and make the process easy, I highly recommend Ace Handyman Services North Oakland County. Chris and Mark were outstanding.
Chris David did a great job!
Ace Handyman services has a policy I disagree with. They arrive on site to assess the job and then go to one of their stores to buy materials. Their shopping time is on your clock; meaning you’re paying for it. If you’re okay with policy, which will end up costing you more, then they do good work.
Steve Heusted from ACE Handyman Services was on time and did a great job repairing our shower door. He also gave us some great suggestions to look out for in the future. I recommend Steve and ACE Handyman Services.

The service technician was fine. My initial communication with the scheduler made it sound like the work that I wanted done would take about two hours. So I purchased a two hour package for $369. I was told that the charges for going over the two hours would be $33 every 15 minutes which I agreed to. Long story short, it took almost twice as long to complete the job and it cost me about 40% more than what I expected.
According to AI The highest charge in Orion Township should not be more than $800 for labor and the toilet. I paid $600 for labor and $269 for the toilet which comes to $869. Prices are too expensive for what you get. I could have hired a plumber to do the job and saved myself about $200-$300!
