  I have 2 guys over at my home right now installing a fixture to wrap up the city of Iron Mountain’s initiative to replace the water lines and they’re getting a one star already for their unwarranted attitude. Guy asked where the door to the basement was and walked away before I could finish so he went to the wrong side. He took it upon himself to walk through the garage and then my entire house and private bedroom to access the basement from the internal door. I then informed him about the correct side entrance where it would be a shorter distance for him, a wider way was cleared, and he wouldn’t track anything through my entire house but he could not care less. I asked him multiple times to use the side entrance but I was blatantly ignored and walked past so I gave up and am writing this review before I contact Coleman Engineering as they chose Universal for this job. The other guy that came with fortunately did listen to my request and used the side entrance. Now I know why their rating on Google is so poor and I want to warn everyone looking for services to stay away from this business unless you want your privacy invaded even after multiple requests to stop.

  Collin and Jaron couldn’t have been more professional in their work ethic. Polite, clean work space every day, always willing to answer any questions you may have. Collin is not only a master at his craft, but has become an artist in his piping configurations. System works great, will be anxious to see how it differs from our 25 year old boiler, but not rushing summer to get there. If you’re looking for a business for your heating or any other plumbing needs check this one out.👍🏻

  Told me 3-4 weeks it’s been 7 and made multiple phone calls and established contact but nobody shows up when they say they will. Never calling them again

  Called about a repair to furnace and they came out the same day which is great. Decided to replace my old furnace and here is where the trouble started. Asked for a quote on Monday. I didn’t get a call back until Thursday and was told he would come out the next Monday. Mark came out Monday and I was happy with cost. He told me he would call me the next day to schedule replacement then never called back. I get a call Friday morning asking if they could come out right now to install it. I was less than happy but wanted AC working again. Three guys installed it quick and looks good. Upon closer inspection they did not seal any duct work and I can feel large leaks which I get to spend sealing up. Nice guys and competitive pricing but attention to detail seems to be lacking.

  Great job with our HVAC and plumbing! We had a lot done—furnace, AC, tankless HWH, different water lines, fixed a leaky toilet flange. Got the AC finalized today, and just in time for the heat wave this week! Great team and great work from Mark (owner), Rich, Brian, Chris, and Connor. You guys rock!
