Jim came today to do an inspection because I have an unexplained stain. He did a through inspection and suggested and called Camelot to do a free inspection as well. Jim was thorough and showed that he was knowledgeable. He did not rush nor did he rush me and explained things plainly where I could understand what was needed. Jim did not pressure me into buying any products but simply presented the options. Jim was friendly easy to talk to and professional. You can tell he has experience.Thank you, Jim. Also, thank you for waiving the service fee for me today.

Tyler from Service Professor was absolutely fantastic! He did an amazing job troubleshooting not one, but two separate issues with my AC unit and got everything figured out quickly. He was on time, professional, thorough, and incredibly patient. He explained everything to me in detail and made sure I understood what was going on and why. I really appreciated how knowledgeable and honest he was throughout the entire service call. I will absolutely continue using Service Professor for all of my HVAC and AC needs, and I highly recommend Tyler to anyone who wants excellent service from someone who truly knows what he’s doing. Thank you, Tyler!

Cy and John showed up after a somewhat chaotic two days for our family. They brought great attitudes and patience to a busy house in need of some help. They worked through the mis-diagnosed problem staying until 8 PM on a Friday night to get to the root cause and get the repair to the field station pump complete. I was very impressed with how genuine and professional both men were. They patiently educated me and my wife on the plumbing system works outside. We are very grateful for their efforts and would highly recommend them and their entire support team.

I had Service Professor come out after I lost one phase of power to my home. I will start by saying the technician was prompt, professional, and seemed knowledgeable. I was quoted **over $11,000** to replace the breaker panel, run a new wire to the oven, and install a whole-house surge protector. I put down a **$3,500 deposit**, and the work was scheduled about three weeks out because Consumers Energy needed to coordinate the disconnect and reconnect. Because of the cost, I decided to get a second opinion from another licensed electrician\. Their quote was **$4,300 for essentially the exact same work, line by line**—a difference of nearly $7,000. I called Service Professor to cancel. I was told the job had been canceled and that my $3,500 deposit would be refunded within 3–5 days. No explanation was offered for the enormous difference in price. Two weeks passed. I received no refund, no follow-up call, and no communication whatsoever. At that point, I became concerned that the job might not actually have been canceled, so I contacted Consumers Energy myself.**They told me my power was still scheduled to be disconnected the very next day.** I then contacted the Kalamazoo electrical inspector and learned that the inspection had not been canceled either. Had I trusted Service Professor’s assurance that everything had been canceled and not made those calls myself, my power would have been disconnected. I was told the reconnect could have left me without power for an extended period—potentially weeks. I immediately called Service Professor again. Instead of receiving an explanation or an apology, the representative I spoke with was short and rude. I still received no reasonable explanation for why the cancellation had not been processed, why Consumers Energy and the inspector had not been notified, why my refund had not been issued as promised, or why nobody had contacted me during those two weeks. The original $11,000+ quote compared with a $4,300 quote for the same scope of work was concerning enough. But telling a customer that a job and utility disconnect have been canceled when they apparently have not been—and then providing no follow-up for two weeks—is far more troubling. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend getting multiple estimates before agreeing to work with Service Professor and independently verifying any cancellation involving your utility company. This experience cost me a significant amount of time and nearly resulted in my home being left without power.
