We were extremely pleased with the service provided by Dan R from CGC Home Services. He arrived on time and was very thorough in checking out our system, identifying the problem and fixing it. It was a pleasure having him here, and he is the guy we would want to come if we ever need service again.

The plumber, Charles, helped me with the iron removal system. He was very knowledgeable and professional. We even did a three way phone conversation with my son who lives in New York. He is a pleasant and kind person, and I feel confident in the decisions we decided upon.

We were having a problem with our Kinetico water softener. The water was getting harder and there was a metallic (iron) smell coming from the water. Kade from CGC came out. He let me know he was on his way and was about a 1/2 hour from our home. He also called when he was 10 minutes away. He was right on time. He looked at the equipment to see how old the unit was. It was 23 years old. He tested the water at a nearby bathroom. The iron was the main culprit. He then took apart the two tanks to check the resin condition. It had a lot of iron in it. The valve controller was past its time and the iron could be damaging the valve. Kade then discussed with me 3 options to resolve the problem. My wife and I are discussing them at present.
Kade is a competent, professional, efficient and knowledgeable technician. I felt very confident in his ability to diagnose the problem. Bottom line is if you have Kinetico water softener problems, you can trust you will be in good hands with CGC to resolve your issues - especially with technicians like Kade.

The technician Kade did a 5-star job with repairing the leaking filter case on my Kinetico water softener.
The 3-star review has more to do with the lack of priority in scheduling a repair for a customer of CGC with a leak issue. CGC has been heavily advertising that they can do plumbing repairs on any system so they can generate more revenue outside of their customer base. The problem is that their customers who bought their systems don’t seem to have any priority anymore and they have to go to the back of the line waiting for service. I had to wait 5 days with a leaking filter case!
