I wanted a disposal, that I already owned, installed under my sink. An estimate was prepared for me and presented. $1200 to install my own disposal???? No thanks!!! Besides, there was a lot of high-pressure sales techniques trying to get me to buy other very expensive products and services. All I wanted was a plumber……not a salesman! I’ll be re-evaluating my relationship with Service Professor.

The tech that came out (Nick) was very helpful, knowledgeable & professional. He was a pleasure to deal with. The entire process they have was wonderful & smooth to deal with as well except for the fact that I didn’t get the call / text that they were on their way to come & look at my repair request. Totally on me though. Turns out the service wasn’t able to be done because of a code that needed to be updated, which I appreciate his knowledge & honesty about that.

We called Service Professor on July 26, 2026 for a clogged sink and shower drain that were backing up. We knew that we would pay more because it was a Sunday, but we needed the drain cleared. They did send a guy out within a reasonable time and he worked on the drain. The only method he used was a vaccumm to try and suck the clog backwards. After getting a couple of hair balls out he deemed it fixed and left. I then proceeded to clean the shower basin and the water backed up again. I called Service Professor back and they sent him back again. This time he brought in a electric snake and tried to get it down the drain. After several attempts to get the snake down the drain he gave up and reverted back to the vacuum again. We did sit and watch the water go down for around 10 minutes and then he left again. Monday night around 6PM I took a shower and before I was done I was standing in water again. I called Service Professor Tuesday morning and explained the situation. The femal that answered the phone stated that we would be charged another $100.00 for them to send someone else out. I told her again that their technician had just been here not 36 hours previously, but she said that it was company pol;icy to charge the fee again, even if it was not fixed the first time. I asked how could they in good faith charge again when it obviously was not fixed the first two times. She would not even consider fixing what hadn't been fixed to start with. I declined their service and will never use them again. I called another service company and their tecnician came out and was here for over two hours. He not only was able to get a snake down the drain but also went down stairs and checked out the trap and pipes in the drop ceiling. He not only snaked the trap for the sink upstairs but also the trap for the shower drain that was located in the drop down ceiling. When he was finished he cleaned up and left and we have not had a problem since. I find that Servic Professors half ass attempt to fix the problem and then that they would not even stand behind their own work shoddy and bad business. As I stated earlier I will never use, nor promote their business to anybody else. The final billing cost $303.00. Mike Damm, a disappointed customer.

We needed some major work done. They were out the next day and replaced a toilet which required a new flange, a new water softener system, a new tankless hot water heater and probably something else I forgot. They were extremely polite, thorough, and accommodating. I love that they ordered pizza to the site so they could reenergize and continue working. All of the work was completed that day and we are very happy. I would not hesitate to call them back out for future work! I have no idea how the price stacks up against competitors, but we are very happy with the work done.

I lost my AC on Sun night. I bought a new filter to see if that would work. It didn't. I made an appointment Mon evening for Tues afternoon. I had Jonah who is based out of Grand Rapids come to my home. He did a thorough exam on my furnace and outside Central air unit. He explained thoroughly everything that was needing to be replaced causing my loss of AC and what may need replaced in the future. Knowing the future replacement needs is also a great relief to me. He did a fabulous job replacing my "starter" and capacitor in a timely manner. An hour after Jonah arrived I was sending him off with payment and an immense smile for his service. I recommend Service professor especially Jonah.
