  I appreciated the communication from the company re: appointment confirmation and tech arrival time as well as the call from assigned tech that he was on his way. Upon meeting Alex, I was very pleased to find that he was most definitely a tech – not a salesman. He was understanding of my needs and did not try to sell me new garage doors and openers if they were not needed. He gave me options and suggestions and took the time to discuss and answer my questions. I was very pleased with his service.

  We had a family emergency that required our garage opener and related parts to be replaced. I had called 4 Garage Repair service companies to help to secure our home. A1 Garage Door Service was the only company to help us immediately. Their repairman Markos came with his associate quickly and replaced everything we needed to complete the job. They were efficient, reasonable and they cleaned up perfectly when completed. I would recommend A1 Garage Door Service and Markos highly.

  My garage door was getting stuck while it was opening. 8x7 single stall door, no insulation, nothing crazy. The tech who came out said don't touch anything don't park your car in the garage keep kids away the whole thing wasn't safe, and we need all these special parts, etc.. Quote: A repair would cost about $2,000 and a full replacement of the door would be $4000. That seemed high so I had another well-established local company come and look at it. They basically said whoever gave the 1st quote was full of it and literally said "I'm guessing it was A1?" Said they could repair it for $200 and replace for $1200 I understand some places might be a little more expensive but a 300 to 1000% difference is just insane. So is trying to scare me into spending that much by making it sound like it was a death trap. Really don't appreciate that. I'm sure they do great work but get multiple quotes.

  I had a very frustrating experience with this company. I was scheduled for a service appointment and even received two text confirmations with the same date and a 3-hour arrival window. 30 minutes before the window was supposed to start, I called to check on the technician, only to be told they were likely running behind on another job. Then, without explanation, they suddenly claimed my appointment was scheduled for a completely different day. That makes no sense given the confirmations I received. It feels like a breakdown in their scheduling system or poor communication internally. I rearranged my day for this appointment and waited within a 3-hour window for no reason. This was a complete waste of time and a major inconvenience. I would not recommend if you’re expecting reliable scheduling or clear communication.

  recommend staying away - horrible service - we had a new garage door installed in november - it was scratched up at time of install but most rubbed off so we didn’t say much - the tech removed a piece and said he would come back but never did. Now the door is rubbing against the house worse and getting ruined. We called to have a tech out as it’s only 4 months old. Tech Brian arrived and didn’t seem to know what to do, all he offered was a maintenance package for $350. he wouldn’t address the issue we called for. When we asked him to leave, he stood there and asked for our name ( as if he had no clue ) then proceeded with so you don’t want the maintenance package ? When asked how much to fix it , he said $350 but never said what was wrong or what was going to be fixed . This is an install issue and there should be a warranty . i have called the company 3 separate days in a row asking to speak to management to attempt to resolve the situation . 2 days in a row i was told id be called back next day. ( the office was busy ) day 3 comes and i call again to be told the manager was out but they’ve relayed the message to him and he would call me friday morning . Guess what ? they NEVER CALLED AGAIN !! As someone who works in the trades i understand an office being busy. What i don’t understand is the complete lack of customer service, standing by your work, and doing the right thing.
