Hometown Flooring service was exceptional and the selection of materials was excellent. Jody helped us with carpeting, LVP, and tile selection. When we needed additional material, Jody was able to find it quickly. Thank you!.

The process started out fabulous and then went downhill quickly. We originally wanted plank flooring for 2 upper bedrooms and the stairs. The salesman visited our home first to review the situation. It was determined that carpet was our only option. We visited the showroom to view samples. The salesman pointed us to a new carpet they recently got in. We took the sample home to see it in our space and it was the winner. We gave a 50% deposit and install was scheduled and expected to take 3 days. The installer didn't even show up at our home until 11:00 am! He worked until 7:30 - 8:00 each day. When I get home from work I want to start my evening, prepare dinner and wind down. We have a pine slatted ceiling. Every time the installer pounded dust and debris fell. Cooking was out of the question. Day 2 the installer arrived close to 1! Day 3 was 11:00. None of this was communicated to us. How can you not have any idea when your installers are showing up for work? The seams are HIGHLY visible in the middle of the room and where the hallway and bedroom doors meet. It looks absolutely awful. The salesman came out and agreed the install was unacceptable. Had another crew come out and try to redo the seams without any luck. It looks like a thin black line running down the middle of our floor and is highly visible with light color carpet. Every time I see this I am so angry. We paid good money for a substandard job. They said they ended up throwing out any of the remaining carpet in their showroom and would not be selling the product any longer. They reduced the balance by $800 and charged us two months later. I worked in the carpet industry for several years. I know they can go back to the manufacturer for compensation when there are product quality issues. How they can actually charge us for admitted substandard product and installation is beyond me. Absolutely dumbfounded. The sales process was great. Everything after that was awful.

Amanda, who did vinyl plank flooring in my master bedroom and tile work in bathroom, did an excellent job and really went above and beyond!
