  Tom came to house for estimate. He was very friendly & answered any/all questions. Had circuit breakers installed (had fuses). Lance, Matt & Justin did the work. Great job!!! Very nice & friendly guys. Bravo to everyone & to Family Heating & Cooling! So refreshing to know a company is STILL great! And oh yeah, these guys deserve a trip to Hawaii/and or a raise! Great job everyone. Thanks, Rose J. 👍😊

  I had my electrical service upgraded from 100 to 150 amp. Family's $ quote was by far the best. Lance & Matt were the electricians that did the work. They went above & beyond to answer all my questions and concerns. I couldn't help but notice the way Lance had all his tools and equipment neatly laid out & set up up in my basement before starting to work - it reminded me of an operating room in a hospital or dentist office! ...lol :-) Matt took care of business on the outside installation of everything! Tom at the G.C. office was helpful as well in answering my questions when I stopped in. Great team! Everything looks neat and professional. I have no complaints. I never give the max star rating for anything... It's not the first time I've used Family's services and would certainly be my choice for any future work I may need!

  We have used Family Heating and Cooling for over 30 years and I cannot say enough kind things about them! The most recent experience was the installation of a new furnace and central air unit. The installation crew was prompt, courteous and cleaned up both installation areas very well. I recommend this company to anyone who needs service.Their honesty is second to none!

  Brenden, Donavan, and Amarion flew in like HVAC superheroes and rescued two old ladies who were suffering from a checked out air conditioner. It was hotter than an oven in this house, and these guys worked all day to install a new one. They also updated our outside electrical outlet up to code, and that made my day as a Halloween/Christmas lights artiste. Then, after a long day of sweat and hard work, instead of zipping off, they had no problem sticking around to answer every detailed question I had as a self described HVAC enthusiast about the new system, potential mods I might want to make in the future, and the current health of our furnace. Now, as we head into cooler climates and the air conditioner heads into hibernation until June, I can affirm we had a beautiful rest of the summer in our excellent running air conditioned home. I can’t thank you guys enough for an outstanding job. My only feedback is I’d like to see Family H & C provide industrial grade HEPA air purifiers for their techs to take on job sites. They call them “air scrubbers” at the industrial level, available at Home Depot, Amazon, and other industrial retailers. These guys deal with way too much dust and other air debris removing old systems and installing new. They should have these air purifiers around where they work to prevent excessive pollution while working. They deserve it, and their future health matters.

  I did not have a good experience with this company. They have been around for over 35+ years and I never expected they would play me like this. I had a central air unit put in over the summer, prior to that I was told that although my furnace was older ,I could still have a central air unit installed with no problem. They sent out the tech for tge estimate ,in which he took pictures of my furnace, measurements of the amount of duct work needed and where the unit would be placed. I had 2 other estimates done and was told that they could install with no problem but still recommended a furnace and gave quotes for both...family also installed a new thermostat...so now since its getting colder in thr fall mornings and evening I went to cut the heat on for the first time and they're was a loud noise almost like a car accident so I ran to the front window and didnt see anything..bc nothing ahould be wrong with my heat i was using it well up until the middle of May bc it was still cold...so I called family yo tell them the issue and they told me I needed a part for my furnace.thstvwould ne roughly about $1,800 .or I need a new furnace ..my blood pressure immediately went up bc all of a sudden my heat doesn't work its just blowing out cold air..they never checked both before leaving ....and then sent aomeone to my home without my permission while I was at work to give me an estimate for a furnace . Im not sure if they just thought iwould go for it ,but I never expected such a long standing company would treat they're customers as such. Very disappointed
