  I called Family for A/C repair work. Josue #924 was the technician sent to do the work. He found the Capacitor had blown. He replaced it and upon further testing He found the coolant 410 was almost 2 pounds low. He added coolant and it's working well. I agreed to scheduling a leak test to be done in the future. This high efficiency Carrier unit is less than 5 years old, so I am naturally disappointed with the units malfunctioning at this early time. Josue explained his work and his concerns very well. I would give him five stars 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 I'm disappointed with the Carrier unit requiring service and costing me over $300 so early. If there is a coolant leak, I'm concerned about what those costs will be. I've always had good luck with Carrier HVAC units in the past. I hope I'm able to say good things in the future. Right now this letter is being pinned on my "Wall of Shame" until after the coolant leak is found and repaired. I will update my review at that time. Stay tuned, vote with your wallet, I do.

  This morning Josue from Family Heating & Cooling in Redford came out to service my Generac generator for it's annual scheduled maintenance, and what an extremely wonderful, peaceful and completely professional man Mr. Josue sincerely was! I was simply overwhelmed by his thorough attention and carefulness to additionally addressed every single one of my concerns. It's honestly great to know that Family Heating & Cooling have great trained technicians on the job, but making the customer feel important is SUCH a very special and tremendously important business SKILL! Today I just felt like Josue, and Family Heating & Cooling actually understand what that means.

  We have used Family Heating for many years. They are always our first phone call when needed. They installed our original furnace & AC 26 years ago. It was time to replace everything and although we shopped around, they had the best pricing for what we needed. The install crew was AMAZING! So polite & professional. They did a great job. I highly recommend.

  When the first technician came out I was dissatisfied with my service didn’t feel like much was done to resolve the initial concern. The next day I called back and they sent Tomy742 out same day and he got me all the way together. Very thorough with explaining issues in the home and I can see an immediate difference within an hour of him being there. Very thankful and appreciative of Tomy and his expertise. He was the night and day difference with my experience and rating.
