  These guys are the best! They have done several projects for our company and have never missed a beat. The team at Dover have great communication throughout entire projects, making life easy not having to chase updates, completion etc. Their technician Dakota just wrapped up a property wide entry door replacement and kept me in the know the entire time, met his schedule to a tee, and was extremely respectful to our tenants through the install. If you need doors or windows call Dover, you won't be disappointed.

  It’s been one week since our window & patio door installation and we couldn’t be happier! The quality of the windows& door is on par or better than the big name brands. The team at Dover was also top notch! To name a few; James, TJ & Alex ran the install team and they we fantastic. We had some custom work done for one window and it turned out to be an absolute shock how beautiful and perfectly installed the custom window looked. Also, the team was in our home for two days and it was a pleasure to have them here. Very nice and just all around good people. Two other people to mention would be Dustin and Cole. Dustin worked on our custom solution and measured are entire window and patio door projects perfectly. Everything fits like a glove. Cole, our salesperson created the best solution for us and we have so much more light and his expertise certainly sealed the deal! Dover is the real deal!

  Our family had our Garage Door replaces approximately 5 years ago. Right at the 5 year mark our garage ceased to work. It began to bend and bow, becoming unusable. Once this happened we contacted Dover and Company and they did not respond to us at all. It was at this point that we started a complaint with the BBB. We then reached back out to the company and they were willing to talk to us at that point. The owner stated that he would be willing to replace the garage door at cost. We indicated that moving forward with that option was not the company taking any responsibility they stated that they would be willing to replace the springs exchanging them with their heavier springs at their expense. We agreed to that and moved forward with getting them replaced. When the technicians from Dover come to our home they did not have the heavier and springs they tried to replace the existing springs with the same weight of springs that we had originally. The technician mentioned it and when we brought up the issue he had to contact his company to get the go ahead to replace the springs. Once that took place, the door was still not able to close. The Technician left at that point. We still did get a bill for this replacement!!! That is a large issue. Not only was it almost impossible to obtain meaningful assistance and a willingness to accept some accountability from Dover and Company but the replacement work was not what we were promised and then we received a bill when it was not warranted nor was the job completed. Dover and Company has proven to be not only dishonest but also does not stand behind their work.

  Had a disappointing experience with Dover Doors. What should have been a straightforward cable replacement turned into an upsell for a spring replacement that I later learned was likely unnecessary at the time—and priced significantly higher than competitors. The work itself was performed by an apprentice with minimal supervision from the lead technician, which did not inspire confidence given the scope of the repair. The biggest issue was the lack of follow-through on basic documentation. I was told I would receive a receipt within 48 hours, but it took nearly 8 days and multiple calls. I only received it after stating I would file a complaint with the Michigan Attorney General Consumer Protection Division. Overall, the combination of upselling, questionable pricing, lack of supervision, and poor communication made this a frustrating experience.

  I had the pleasure of meeting Cedric for the initial assessment for my issue with my garage door. He was very courteous and readily answered all of my questions. Before he left I felt that he gave me more than enough information to help me make a sound decision about the product I needed to purchase. Jeremy came out to take the measurements to ensure accuracy for the new garage door installation. Not only was he professional but very personable as well. My husband and I talked to him, probably a little longer than we should have about fishing but we didn't feel rushed as we diverted from the garage door purchase. He was very receptive to our issue being that the garage was central to my husband's access from inside of our home to the outside due to the ramp's entry point at the back of our garage. With that consideration, we were scheduled rather quickly for an installation which pleased us tremendously. Drake and Austyn came out and completed the new garage installation. These 2 young men were quite professional and readily answered all of the questions I had. I was pleased with the installation but more than that I was pleased with how personable they were. I was also provided with information on other services that Dover provides. I can tell you that Cedric, Jeremy, Drake and Austyn represents this company very well and Dover should be very proud of their professionalism and personable nature with us. I would recommend Dover to all of my friends. I will also look to Dover in the future for any other needs that we may have. Shelia Wilson
