    Zachary from Thornton & Grooms was here to unclog my main line and make sure we were well taken care of. Mike also came out to do a full camera inspection and explained exactly what was happening in my system. Both did a great job, very professional and friendly. They also cleaned up after completing the work. I highly recommend them and the team, plus I liked the service enough to join their annual plan.

    The tech Daniel Jurkiewicz arrived on time and explained what he was going to do. He checked the furnace instalation and opened up the unit. He immediately noted that the exhaust fan had a bad Bering. He then went to my thermostat and turned on the furnace and made some more checks. He explained what he was doing and told me the results of each test. He answered all my questions and explained In a way I could understand. He made me aware of what Thornton Coombs could do should I decide to replace my furnace which is what I will probably do this summer. I feel like I got a good honest appraisal of my furnace which is what I needed. And will consider Thornton Grooms to do the job. Thanks Alan Lapp

    People at the company are very friendly. Electrician, Zach, was awesome. He even helped my neighbor chase down their dog that ran out of their yard. Exceptional service and very friendly. My only complaint at all is the automated answering service when you call the general number. Speaking with a real person goes a long way when you need a home repair. Couple prompts to get there but once I was speaking with a real person everything went well. Still giving them 5 stars cause Zach was that good.

    Paul did a great job on the installation of a hot water recirculation system with dedicated return & a timer to save energy by running it only when needed the most. He also checked the pressure of the expansion tank connected to the water heater & he adjusted the pressure to be 5 psi above the house water pressure. He took great care in everything he did. I will definitely use Thornton & Grooms for all future plumbing or heating/cooling issues.

    Hired Thornton & Grooms for the purchase and installation of a brand new furnace and air conditioning unit. We got several quotes from many companies. Thornton & Grooms biggest selling point was that these things are all about the installation being done properly. People need to hire a solid company like theirs who know what they are doing because the initial install is EVERYTHING. Initial install was March 27th. Was told it was all smooth and all set. Within the first week it was warm enough to turn the AC on. Switched the new thermostat to "Cool" and turned down the temp....nothing happened. Tech who came out said it was a bad install. To sum up and keep this short, they have had to come out 4 times after the initial install up to this point. The units do seem to be functioning now (I'd hope so since we went higher end on our decisions for both Furnace and AC, meaning we paid up). We are still waiting for them (as of 6+ weeks later) to schedule the inspection they said would be done quickly as well. To say we are disappointed, after a near $20k tab, would be an understatement.
