    Thank you Thornton & Grooms. Once again you’ve beaten my expectations! I’ve used your services multiple times the past 10-15 years. I’ve always had excellent experience. This time, my friend is selling their house. Out of a buyer inspection report, it was suspected there were roots intrusion into sewer line. we were requested to have a professional for a second look and treat/clear roots as necessary. Jeremy Mansfield was the tech expert assigned to this. Exactly as I requested, he called me 30 minutes before arrival so I could explain to him the special situation. He arrived on time, performed the work… and everyone there was impressed, too… not only he did the work, he also let us know exactly what he saw, with his screen, and explained what it meant or how it was developed, whether it should be of concern or not. In the end he finished all the work with a report/summary, and, no charge! (Yes! no charge as it’s their promotion period for camera scoping) For this alone, I would question - how many vendors out there would honestly tell you nothing further was needed, especially in this case the inspection suspected root intrusion with their footage (btw Jeremy also had 100 opportunities to lead us to believe further work should be done, and we would have followed). How he had handled this today is something called HONESTY representing T&G (which translates to trustworthiness, which gets you more business:-). Thank you Jeremy! Thank you Thornton & Grooms! I have referred many friends over the years, I am indebted to refer more. Keep it up! Much appreciated!

    The technicians I’ve interacted with have been courteous and professional. Unfortunately, my experience with the Care Plan membership has been very disappointing. One of the benefits of the membership is annual furnace and A/C maintenance. I requested this service months ago, but no one ever contacted me to schedule an appointment. I even called to follow up and was simply told to keep waiting. Despite continuing to pay for the membership, I never received the service or any communication about the delay. Based on my experience, I would not recommend purchasing their Care Plan membership. I also found their repair pricing to be very expensive. For example, I was quoted over $300 just to replace a bathroom light switch, which was far more than I was willing to pay, so I ended up doing the work myself.

    I just moved into a new house and noticed a large temperature and humidity difference between the two floors. I was able to make an appointment quickly with Thornton & Grooms to see what the issue was. The first tech, Kyle, was very informative, good about explaining the issue without making it feel like he was talking down to me. He was also great about stepping into a room when I needed to move my dogs through the house - the dogs were already stressed by the move and add in the heat of a malfunctioning AC and the presence of a stranger and they weren’t up to a meet and greet. Thornton & Grooms got the needed part in quickly and were out 4 days later to install it. It was an all day job, so I closed all the blinds and did my best to conserve what cool air I could in the house. The second tech. Dave, was great about going thorough outside doors quickly to help keep cool air in. He also worked as efficiently as he could to make sure I had the AC back up and running as soon as possible and made some suggestions on how to maintain cool air in the meantime. I really appreciated the professionalism and prompt service. My AC is now working properly and my dogs and I are enjoying our heatwave from inside our cool home.

    Alex was amazing- professional, very thorough and knowledgeable. My a/c airflow was low and he was able to determine the three causes for the issue and fixed them all immediately and quickly. He explained everything clearly, had the right temperature measurement devices and I was able to see exactly what he did. Also did all of the regular a/c checks. He wouldn’t leave until he could tell the airflow was stronger and my VERY dirty outside unit was completely clean. And he’s a really nice guy and pleasant to work with. Will absolutely ask for him in the future!

    I was calling around for estimates for a central air conditioner. Thorne and Grooms was on of the companies called. Appointed made easily with their Bot for same day as called service 3PM. Ms. Tequila Wilkerson arrived promptly. Very cordial. She accessed the outdoor equipment already at the house(including pictures). Measurements of the indoor equipment also with pictures. She was very through in her assessment. ms. Wilkerson sat with me and my husband explaining all to be done, with the cost and any discounts. She was “transparent”about what she was able to offer as Thornton and Groom’s representative. At the start and during our discussion, I’d mention that I was getting estimates from other companies and would not be making any decision until I had them and had reviewed all. She understood and continued with the consultation. However, twice prior to the end Ms Wilkerson mentioned that they had an opening slot for next days installation due to a cancellation and I should jump on it, showing me the scheduling calendar. I again noted I was getting more estimates and needed to review. The entire consultation went along seamlessly until the end when I felt she had not heard me on this particular issue. Being in sales for 33 of my working years I understand the urgency but was not able to “pull the trigger” on a big investment without more that one estimate. I did not agree to purchase at that time, though I thought the price just a little high but reasonable (I’d been researching).
