Italy American and Enzo Mastroianni were phenomenal in every way! They were patient with us while we planned our new bathroom remodel. They originally gave us a very reasonable estimate for a complete remodel of our master bathroom. They stuck to the original estimate before they ripped out the drywal, old floor tilesand floor. Turns out the subfloor was rotting and had to be replaced. We worked with Italy American closely to purchase exactly what we wanted for the remodel purchase

Beverly Dawn Whatley Inkster, Michigan September 2026 An Outstanding Experience with Italy-American Construction! I have had the pleasure of working with Italy-American Construction on two major projects over the years, and I could not be more pleased with the results. In 2017, they completed a partial reconstruction of my garage following water damage. Their work gave me confidence in their craftsmanship, professionalism, and attention to detail. In 2026, I turned to Italy-American Construction again for a much larger project: a complete exterior renovation of my mid-century home. The work included some necessary rebuilding, new siding, gutters, downspouts, and beautiful aesthetic framing around windows, the garage door, air vents, outside water spigots and electrical outlets. The transformation was remarkable! The contractor listened to my “wants”, but also heard the “needs” of the house, beyond attractive upgrades. The crew not only addressed the structural and functional of the exterior but also paid attention to the details that made the finished project look polished, cohesive, and beautiful. I have a renewed sense of inviting friends to my home! What impressed me most was their commitment to quality and their ability to take a project from necessary repairs to a finished result that genuinely enhances the appearance of the home. Having worked with them in 2017 and choosing them again a decade later speaks volumes about the trust I have in the work of Italy-American. I am extremely happy with their work and would highly recommend Italy-American Construction to anyone looking for quality craftsmanship, professionalism, and a company that takes pride in its work and treats clients like family. I will be sharing their brochures and business cards. They did an outstanding job!

I’m sorry but not a very good experience with any part of the communication. I had to initiate every conversation all summer long. Yes, this started in April when I signed the contract. By September Italy American said they couldn’t finish. We signed for 3 small projects to be done that were dragged out all spring and summer long with one and half of the projects getting completed. So disappointing. They don’t deserve a star. When we disputed the remaining items to be completed Italy American threatened with the usual, “we will put a lien on your house if you don’t pay what was in the contract”. Again, they never finished. So, being bullied into paying, I wrote them a check.

I hired Italy American because of the experience I had in the past using them. Once again they exceeded my expectations. This project involved remodeling my garage into a custom man cave. I definitely would recommend them in the Northville area!
