Very pleased with the work Tyler K. did on our garage door. He went through the features of the door afterwards and made it very easy to understand and operate. The final product looked even better than I expected. Jack S. was also helpful in explaining the different door options and helped with finding an option that worked for us financially.

Dakota Klee performed the work with professional competence and integrity! He was polite, patient and diligent. Explained all available options and I was able to make an informative decision. He was observant and detected additional faults with the interior of the garage door, providing me with alternatives to a new door. Afterwards, Dakota worked on the issue based on the decision I made. He had all parts available to complete the work. At the end, Dakota provided me with all paperwork and receipts and agreed upon annual inspection to ensure proper maintenance is in place. Based on the above, Dakota is highly recommended.

We had a really poor experience with A1 and with the amount of competitors in this space I would pursue other companies. Bottom line, we were quoted an extremely high amount for the work, it was done poorly by an inexperienced coworker, and then he damaged the weather stripping on the garage and they refused to repair their mistake without us paying them to do so. Full details below: We have a two car garage that only had one spring installed from our builder. We wanted to get a second spring installed and in the past had a positive experience with them on a repair. The representative came and quoted over $1,000 for two springs installed. We did a quick search prior and determined a fair price for this work would be in the $500 range. We let them know and then they magically lowered the pricing to be in line with the actual cost. The coworker who did the work seemed incredibly inexperienced an usure of themselves, like it may have been their first day. We likely should have gone a different direction at that point in time in hindsight, but unfortunately we let them proceed as we wanted to get the springs replaced. The day after the work was done we noticed that the weather stripping which was completely in tact was torn down both sides of the garage. I then called customer service (needed to wait about 30 minutes to speak to someone) but she was incredibly nice and scheduled a tech to come out the next business day to address the damage. The person who came out today was incredibly condescending and acted as if we were trying to take advantage of them and claimed it was like that. He pointed to pictures after the work was done (which is when he damaged it). My wife pointed out to him the report filed prior to the work being done even said the weather stripping was in tact, but he said that he can only go by the pictures. We take great pride of ownership in our home, had their been a terror this large in our weather stripping (photo attached) it would have been repaired. This whole situation is ridiculous and I can't believe a company this large can be ran so poorly. I will never use them again and would recommend to any neighbors to do the same.
