  I love Great Dane heating and cooling. We have air conditioning units in our house because we have hot water heating and never thought we could get air conditioning in until we called Great Dane that a friend referred them to us! So we put a unit in every room and it has kept our house very cool for years. Last week the units would not put out any cool air, So we called Great Dane and they stand behind their work. I am so happy with Great Dane because they will service you and find the problem and fix it!

  Installer was great. However not happy with how est price on phone was inaccurate- I contacted this company for a quote to replace my water heater. They gave me an estimate over the phone, but based it on the water heater at my previous address instead of the one in my current home. When the installer arrived, he immediately told me the quoted water heater was not the correct size or type for my house. I was then given a new estimate that was over double the original phone estimate I understand that prices can change when the scope of work changes, but I was disappointed that the company didn’t verify the details before providing an estimate. If they had asked a few questions or confirmed the model at my current address, it would have saved everyone time and avoided an unpleasant surprise. The installer was professional and explained the situation clearly. My concern is with the quoting process, which I believe needs improvement so future customers receive accurate estimates from the beginning. They gave me $100 discount.

  My AC stopped working during a hot spell and Dominic from Great Dane was available to troubleshoot the very next day. Dominic found the problems immediately and had me working in just in about an horu. He also gave me some tips for homeowner maintenance. Excellent service and I definitely recommend them. Thanks Dominic. 10/10

  I was out of town on a work trip and my wife called me and said the thermostat is broke for the furnace. I called great Dane and heating and cooling and spoke with Keith. He told me he could get a guy out within the next few hours, but I would have to pay an emergency road service fee. The fee was over $250. The thermostat that they put in was smaller than the one that was on the wall and it cost me over $800. talk about getting ripped off $1000 for a thermostat. I will never refer them, very disappointed James Georgen Clinton Township Michigan

  I hate to be one of those customers who only leaves a bad review but this company went from being really great to just flat out dishonest at this point. I tried hard to be a loyal "MVP" customer for the last 3+ years but it is simply time to let the world know there are probably better options out there. Take it for what it is worth if you value your time, money and honestly home safety to shop around first. Suffering from buyers remorse that we probably would have been better served spending the thousands of dollars invested in Great Dane somewhere else...
