- RSRick Schacher5 days ago5.0So, my sewer started draining slowly yesterday. The toilet was backing up, burbling, and some water was visible in the tub. I have used American Sewer before so I gave them a call late in the day. The receptionist promptly understood what was happening and said she could send someone out within the hour. WHAT! Nothing gets done in an hour anymore. I was so shocked that I wasn't ready to have them out that quickly because of previous obligations. So we scheduled for early the next day. Their technician, Jeff, was here and ready to go early in the morning. So I showed the technician the problem and he got right on it. He was done clearing the line to the road (80 ft) and gone within 2 hours. He cleaned everything up, gave me some advice on how to prevent future plug ups, and showed me what he found (hair and sludge). If you've ever used one of the other clean out services you'll know how blessed we are to have this company in our area. I didn't take any pictures because you probably wouldn't want to see the process. Thank you, Jeff!
