  I had a very unhappy experience with this company (with Kurt in particular; the owner of the company). He came out to the cottage last year to repair/redo some bathroom plumbing. He actually ended up coming twice and charged full price for the second call which I was not pleased about (and yet that is not the reason for the very negative review). When I turned the water back on this spring, the linings had split/cracked, and flooded the bathroom floor. I assumed there would be some sort of price adjustment on a visit back this year to fix this issue. Kurt said absolutely no way: nothing guaranteed after 30 days; full service call charge. (Keep in mind I have been draining the pipes every fall for many years and have never had a problem anything like this before). Suffice it to say I did not choose to work with Affordable again to repair this damage. Sadly, my only recourse is this negative review...what goes around, does come around!

  Cannot brag enough about this company and it's owner!! I had a garbage disposal problem over the weekend and instead of making us wait, or blowing us off, he made suggestions on how we might fix the problem ourself. and, IT WORKED!! He could have passed on us and it could have caused us grief and hundreds of dollars by someone else who wasn't willing to help us understand and have the patience he gave us!! I hope we run into him sometime so we can thank him personally. You're an amazing human being Mr. Kirk Landefeld!!

  I called at 3:30pm, with an extreme plumbing blockage. They arrived at my house 2 hours later and solved the problem in 30 minutes! Kirk was extremely professional, and intelligent in his profession. If there’s any plumbing problems down the road, I will definitely be calling Affordable Plumbing!
