  When we bought our property, it came with a whole house generator. We'd been getting annual maintenance from Dirfy's for the last few years. Last November, the power went out, and the generator failed to switch over and provide power. Dirfy's tried to fix it, but couldn't. Our neighbor suggested Rod's Electric, so we called in March. Kevin came out, and I was very impressed with his debugging. He stepped through possibles, and determined it was the generator control board, which he then replaced. All good! He also showed us how to test power failures at the automatic transfer switch, which we appreciated. Kevin knows his stuff! Also, when I call the office, someone answers, which is much appreciated :-)

  We have been with Rod's Electric for five years and our interaction has always been positive. Kevin, the service techs, and staff are outstanding. We have had nothing but a positive experience with these folks.

  I contacted Rod's for quote in early September. They were out within a week for a site evaluation and quote the price they quoted me was spot on with the number that was in my head. They set an install date within a month. They were right on time. Polite and a pleasure to work with. They didn't try to push me into something more than I told them I wanted. Everything went off like clockwork. I wish I could say the same about the gas company! That's another review on another site. Thanks to fine folks at Rod's

  The woman who does the scheduling is unfriendly. They couldn't get a generator for a year but we ended up finding one and getting it within weeks. Update: if they don't like your review they won't service your generator. Like I said, great customer service.
