Ty came out to "winterize" the air conditioner which actually followed an emergency visit by the owner (Keith) last July and our subsequently signing a maintenance agreement. Both are amazingly knowledgeable and thorough. I could go into detail but just know that our central AC unit had not been cleaned for 11 years and it did not have to be replaced because they definitely know their stuff. And now I know that it will run more efficiently and Ty told us because it's a Trane it's like having a really good workhorse. 10 stars if I could!

Excel Mechanical installed our heat pump heating and cooling systems in our high performance, deep energy home renovation. They designed and installed a fairly complicated whole house solution with three zones - two ducted systems (with humidification), non-ducted systems with three ceiling cassettes; as well as an Energy Recovery Ventilation system for the whole house. We also hired them to perform our preventative maintenance services to keep the equipment balanced and perforing optimally. We have been extremely satisfied with the team - from owner and operations leaders, to dispatcher and technicians - everyone has shown that they are exceptionally professional, service-oriented and knowledgeable. While they are not the low price leader in the market, they compensate by offering high value and proven expertise. We would highly recommend Excel Mechanical for any project they see as apropriate for their business.

The installation crew arrived on time with all of the necessary equipment. The equipment was going into a basement crawl space which made their work more difficult but they accomplished what was needed and were very professional. Their tech person was very knowledgeable and was able to coordinate a dual heating system utilizing both a heat pump and a propane fired hot air system. I highly recommend them for commercial as well as residential services.
