  Had our septic tank emptied today. Rod with Freedom did an outstanding job. We have other people here working on our house and their vehicles were parked along with ours so it was very tight backing in our long driveway. Rod maneuvered his truck like a pro. (My wife was so impressed she made me add that!). Rod completed the job quickly and efficiently and was very professional and friendly. He even took the time to explain how the system worked to my son. Great service at a reasonable price. Definitely recommend.

  Regrettably, after today, we will no longer be utilizing Freedom Septic Services. Consequently, we will be filing a complaint with the Attorney General’s office. We acknowledge that the current economic climate, characterized by rising prices and geopolitical factors, presents challenges. However, we find it unacceptable that Freedom Septic Services charged us $800 for a back baffle pipe installation. The job was straightforward, requiring no excavation, and the workers were present for a mere 10 minutes. The “pre-cleanout” was minimal, as the technician only cleared enough space to access the baffle. Despite our attempts to reason with the company, they have only reduced the price by $100 for a job that is worth no more than $500, which is being generous considering the cost of PVC fittings and other materials. We believe that the cost they gave us over the phone after the job was done were inflated to justify the already exorbitant cost and to make it seem like we got a “discount”. It appears that the company has passed on the cost of bringing out unnecessary equipment onto us. Bruce initially quoted us $800, claiming that excavation was required. Excavation is a significant expense for any job, and we find it unreasonable that the original quote wasn’t adjusted to account for it not being needed We are deeply disappointed that Freedom Septic Services was not more accommodating. We will be filing a complaint with the Attorney General’s office in hopes of recovering what is fair and just.
