The entire process from scheduling the estimate, the work completed, and communications with office were all very professional and met all expectations.

September 2026 - Southern Maryland Paving & Sealcoating were great to work with. From estimating to scheduling to day of work. They showed up on time and rocked the job leaving us with a beautiful newly paved driveway. We would highly recommend them. Five Stars!!! ~ C. Lennon & D. Witter ~

Southern Maryland Paving replaced my entire driveway (~2,600 sq ft) — full demo of the old asphalt, regrading, root removal from old tree damage, stone base, new culvert pipe, and 3" of hot mix. The quote they gave me in July was the exact price I paid in September; nothing moved and there were no surprises or add-ons. Brian answered every question I had straight, even the picky ones, and confirmed the full scope in writing before the work started. The crew showed up when promised, demoed and graded in a day, and the finished surface looks fantastic — clean edges, good tie-in at the street, water actually drains now. Fair fixed pricing, licensed (MHIC), no deposit required, payment on completion. This is how contracting should work. Highly recommend.

I didn’t want to write this review but I have contacted this company multiple times due to issues with my driveway deteriorating within one year of being paved. The asphalt mix that was used seems like it’s very weak or incorrectly mixed, the driveway is very rough and the stones are chipping away easily from cars driving in and out of the driveway. I have talked to the office multiple times and every time they say that the owner is coming out to look but never shows up..

Southern Maryland Paving provided excellent customer service. I reached out to them for a quote on my driveway and they were very responsive. The next week they scheduled me on the books to complete the job. They showed up to the job on time, to include the owner (Chad), and they worked very hard at a fast pace which is needed with this line of work. All of the employees were friendly, paid attention to detail, and ensured they did their part to complete the job. I am extremely pleased with the results and appreciate the opportunity to do business with Southern Maryland Paving, Inc. I recommend them for any of your paving and/or seal coating needs 👍
