  From start to finish, my experience with Farnen and Dermer was outstanding. I needed to replace my entire HVAC system. The entire process, from receiving my quote from Ed to scheduling the installation, was smooth and stress-free. Their office staff was always available whenever I called, and communication throughout the entire process was excellent. Mike R. was the technician who installed my new HVAC system, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. He was professional, knowledgeable, and immediately put me at ease. The team arrived on time (he had an assistant with him, Greg) and they took great care to protect my floors and home during the installation, and demonstrated exceptional attention to detail. It was clear that Mike has extensive expertise, and he took the time to answer all of my questions and thoroughly review my new system and its components before leaving. They also made sure everything was cleaned up just the way they found it. As a homeowner, replacing an HVAC system is a significant investment, so finding not only a quality system but also a company that provides a quality installation was extremely important to me. I shopped around and received quotes from several companies, including larger HVAC providers. Farnen and Dermer offered a fair, competitive price for a high-quality system without sacrificing workmanship or customer service.   James and Jimmy were great. Did an awesome job on installing the mini split for my addition. I have referred Farnen & Dermer for a number of years because I know that they have integrity. I have been in the industry for over 45 years and unable to do it myself and I chose them to do it for me. I'm glad I did. Ralph

  This company has an impressive lineage! The day that I called them to give me a quote and check out my AC system, the calltaker’s grandfather was in the office and it was his father who responded to give me the quote! A business running through 5 generations over 124 years is definitely impressive. I found that their pricing was excellent and I liked the equipment that they used (American Standard) however did not end up replacing the system as nothing was wrong with it (despite another AC company saying the 6 year old system had to be replaced).

  Our experience was fantastic with Farnen & Dermer, from the first phone call with Zach, through the first service visit with Glenn. On the phone we spoke with Zach, a very knowledgeable, well spoken, friendly and professional guy. He gave us the information we requested and set up an appointment for us within a few days of our call. On the day of our service call, Glenn reached out about 45 minutes before our scheduled time frame and arrived exactly when he said he would. He was knowledgeable, educating and thorough. He explained details to us in a manner that we easily understood. We were so impressed with Farnen & Dermer that we have already referred people to use their excellent service. I highly recommend Farnen & Dermer for all your HVAC needs!

  Arrived home on a Thursday evening to an upstairs that was 95 degrees and sweltering. Placed a call for service. Too late for same day service but the technician arrived within the scheduled time window the very next morning! Hallelujah!!! Great overall experience. The technician (Eric) diagnosed the situation, advised on the part required and explained some possible causes for the malfunction. He explained some potential options to minimize future occurrences and made me aware of an issue to monitor due to the age of the unit.
