  On four occasions over the past few years Pagenstecher Group has enhanced the utility and value of our classic home, built in 1937. The design and build work has approached perfection, with our new porch and deck, master suite addition, and bath and kitchen renovation all completed on time, neatly and at an exceptional level of quality. We were comfortable with the team whether we were at home or not. 5+ stars.

  We engaged Pagenstecher Group to renovate the first floor of our home and had an outstanding experience with them. They were consummate professionals in every aspect of the renovation process — from early meetings where we discussed our goals and needs for the project, through the design phase, the selection of materials and the actual work in our home. Their team members were always courteous and respectful, completed steps according to schedule, made adjustments as needed when issues arose and kept the worksite spotless. We would wholeheartedly recommend them if you are considering a major renovation project in your home and would hire them again if we decide to do another in ours.

  We did a major renovation with The Pagenstecher Group and the results were OUTSTANDING!!! Every detail was taken care of and we could not have been happier with the final product. Their entire team - from the spectacular Peter to every single worker they used - were talented, gracious and helpful. A perfect experience. We would use them again in a heartbeat!

  Our house in Bethesda was build in 1938 and we became the second owners in 1989. Between the time that we made an offer on the house and moved in, a large tree dropped a bough on the family room, crushing in one part of the roof. The owner had selected John and Peter Pagenstecher to make the repairs. By the time we moved in there was no trace of any damage. When we decided a few years later to convert the garage to a large kitchen and when we decided this year to put a large shed dormer into the family room, we didn't hesitate. We would only consider having the Pagenstecher Group work on our wonderful home. I could fill pages with the specifics but my wife and I use words like the following to describe Peter, his crews, and the work they do: Meticulous craftsmanship; employs great people and uses only first-rate subcontractors; completely committed to producing exceptional results; respect for your home and privacy; courteous, friendly, and honorable; thorough attention to detail; open to suggestions that will improve a project; conscientious about clean-ups; gives great advice but leaves decisions to the customer. Sorry to go on so long but we have nothing but praise and good feelings for the Pagenstecher Group. Over three projects and 25+ years, they've been consistently outstanding.
