Very clear in what he was going to do, and he did that to resolve my plumbing issue. Demonte was communicative of the plan, listened to us regarding our problems then fixed the issues. That's a 5 syar in my book. Heil Plumbing also did a great job of communicating the process of scheduling and arrival of the tech.

Otto and the rest of the Heil team, from initial consultation, to follow up calls, emails, and texts were excellent! Responsive, trustworthy, thorough. I highly recommend their services. They replaced our sewer line in a day, worked in a very tidy way too, and had to dig down over 9 or 10 feet (we live in a 1960s rancher).

My family and I went six days boiling water due to our water heater going out. After spending over 6K in replacing a water heater, just to be told that it couldn’t be turned on due to the fact that the ventilation wasn’t properly venting was frustrating. Which led my wife and I on a two day chase to finding someone to fix the issue and extremely glad we found Chad Knowles with HEIL PLUMBING & HVAC who quickly came in and took care of the issue and got us back to having hot water in our home, as well as share his knowledge. 10/10 recommended as he has earned my trust and business.

Had 2 significant leaks in the basement, a pipe and an improperly hung hot water overflow reservoir, as well as a couple leaky faucets and blocked drain. Heil sent Joe Welch, easily the most impressive plumber I have witnessed in action. He took care of all this in a couple hrs and found additional leaks under my kitchen sink from a failed faucet and leaky supply valve. I dashed out to Home Depot and got a new faucet which he then installed. Joe explained everything carefully while expertly fixing these issues. I highly recommend Heil and would ask for Joe Welch!

While I have used Heil in the past with great success, they appear to have changed ownership and tactics. They required nearly $100 to come and provide us with an estimate, and the estimate they provided ended up being double what we paid someone else. We ate the fee they made us pay (we had agreed to it) but it was cheaper to find someone else. Furthermore, we had asked for two services to be estimated and they never provided the estimate for the second service. While I had asked for a hose bit repair and a pier water line connection to my house (the pier line was existing, it just needed to be connected in), they only sent a person capable of estimating the above ground work and did not send a person who could estimate the underground work. They told me they would call back with the estimate from the underground work and did not. Rather than going back and forth with them (and to be honest I was expecting them to want more money for the 2nd estimate), I decided to find someone else. I had Heil build out my basement bathroom in my old house and had been very happy, but now they have no interest in remodeling work and their practices are not friendly to the consumer. So, note that I did not actually have them do the work, so my 2 stars if for not following up with me as promised and their practice of wanting a fee to provide an estimate.
